At SiGMA Central Europe in Rome, the iGamingToday.com editorial team caught up with Richard from SiGMA — easily one of the most stylish guys on the conference floor — and the driving force behind the newly launched SiGMA Nexus program, designed to elevate high-level connections across the global iGaming ecosystem.
Richard describes Nexus as a three-tier structure aimed at operators and suppliers, business-to-government stakeholders, and affiliates. The program blends elite networking events, intelligence sharing, and thought-leadership initiatives tailored for C-level decision-makers.
With Nexus introduced in Rome, 2026 will mark its full activation, including satellite events at eight global SiGMA shows, the expansion of the business-to-government division, and the rollout of a dedicated affiliate-support framework focused on strategic insights and performance growth.
Richard also shared his enthusiasm for innovation — from the early days of mobile to crypto and now AI. Not every wave sticks, he says, but the ones that do redefine the industry.
And as the conversation wrapped, we shifted from tech to torque. Richard’s dream garage? A classic 1967 Shelby GT350 or GT500 — proving his taste extends far beyond sharp tailoring.
A big thank you to Richard and the SiGMA team for sharing their vision with us in Rome.
