During one of the biggest iGaming conferences of 2026, iGamingToday spoke with Thomas from Mainstream Gaming about what could become one of the industry’s most significant user experience shifts.
Coming from the technology sector, Mainstream Gaming is introducing a swipe-based casino solution that allows operators to offer instant access to games, zero or near-zero load times, and even the ability to run multiple games simultaneously.
According to Thomas, player behavior shaped by platforms like TikTok and YouTube is now influencing expectations in online gambling.
“We believe the biggest transformation in iGaming right now is moving away from traditional navigation and into a more direct, swipe-style experience,” he explains.
Instead of static casino lobbies and loading screens, players can move seamlessly between games — creating a faster, more fluid experience designed for a new generation of users.
With competition intensifying across regulated markets, user experience may become one of the defining battlegrounds of 2026.
Whether swipe-based casinos will become mainstream remains to be seen — but the shift toward speed and frictionless access is clearly underway.
