China Ecotourism Group has further strengthened its position in the country’s regulated lottery sector after its subsidiary, Guangzhou Lottnal Terminal Company, secured another major contract with the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Lottery Management Centre. The new agreement marks the second win this year for Lottnal in the province and underscores the group’s expanding footprint in China’s sports lottery ecosystem.
New Terminal Supply Deal in Zhejiang
According to the company’s latest announcement, Guangzhou Lottnal has signed a contract to provide traditional sales terminals to the Zhejiang sports lottery authority after a successful bid submitted in July. The deal covers two projects, with around 2,500 traditional lottery sales terminals in total, that further highlights the confidence of the provincial authorities in the hardware and systems capabilities of the firm.
These terminals are an integral part of retail lottery distribution, as they functionally represent the physical interface between the buyers and the state-authorized sports lottery system. The terminal deployment expansion throughout Zhejiang is expected to support the gradual expansion of access to sports lotteries and operational efficiency at their respective point-of-sale locations.
Earlier Warranty Service Win
The new contract follows an earlier success this year. In March, Lottnal won the bid for an extended warranty service project for Zhejiang Sports Lottery’s existing traditional terminals. That engagement entrusts the company with after-sales maintenance and technical support for the province’s installed base, reinforcing its role not just as an equipment supplier but also as a long-term service partner.
Combined with the supply and warranty wins, this would indeed deepen the relationship between Guangzhou Lottnal and the Zhejiang sports lottery authority, setting the subsidiary up as a leading technology and service provider across the province’s lottery infrastructure.
Sports Lottery Market Momentum
China Ecotourism used the announcement to highlight the broader backdrop of a dynamic and steadily maturing sports lottery market in China. This sports lottery has now become an integral part of national fitness campaigns, grassroots sports activities, and cultural-tourism events across the country, they added.
The company also pointed to ongoing improvements in the market’s standardization and governance. It emphasized that as regulatory frameworks and operational norms have matured, sports lottery sales revenue has continued to rise, which in turn has injected what it described as greater vitality and confidence into the group’s own business outlook.
Strategic Focus and Industry Positioning
China Ecotourism said it plans to further tap into new opportunities in lotteries at all value chain levels, focusing on detailed execution of operational activities. The group reaffirmed that its strategy is to maintain and consolidate what it described as an industry-leading position through product innovation in combination with high-quality services, adding that it looks forward to earning and maintaining market recognition by good performance.
The company’s strategy centers on developing and delivering technology and support solutions that align with the evolving needs of China’s state-run lottery system. By pairing new terminal deployments with ongoing service projects, China Ecotourism is positioning itself for recurring revenue streams and deeper integration with key provincial lottery operators such as Zhejiang’s management centre.
Public Welfare Role of Lottery Funds
In China, all lottery activities are authorized and issued by the state, with proceeds earmarked as public welfare funds. This framework means that projects such as the Zhejiang terminal rollouts serve both commercial and social objectives, supporting government-backed distribution networks that channel net lottery income toward designated public benefit programs.
Within this model, technology providers like Guangzhou Lottnal operate as critical infrastructure partners, while parent companies such as China Ecotourism link their growth prospects to the ongoing expansion and modernization of the sports lottery system nationwide.
