Euro Games Technology (EGT) officially launched its new Argentina offices in Buenos Aires, a landmark in its Latin American expansion strategy. The opening, held in the vibrant Puerto Madero neighborhood at Cecilia Grierson 222, gathered around one hundred executives, gaming operators, and industry notables for an exclusive invite-only networking and celebratory reception.
A Strategic Base in Argentina
The new premises will have room for around 40 staff at the early stage of business and will serve as EGT’s hub for Argentina and other countries in the region. The expansion is intended to strengthen the company’s position not just in land-based gaming but also in the new online and digital markets.
In the evening, guests from high-performing casinos, bingo halls, online gaming, and sports betting companies were shown around the new offices prior to attending a cocktail reception. A ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Christian Graffigna, Director of EGT Argentina, was used to officially open the company’s operations from its new headquarters.
Leadership and Global Support
Some of the key executives attended, including Nadia Popova, EGT Vice President of Marketing and Sales and CRO; Andrés Troelsen, iGaming Latin America Regional Sales Director; José Frank, CFO Argentina; and José Salinas, Sales Director Argentina and Paraguay. The presence of senior leadership emphasized EGT’s strategic importance in Argentina as a market.
Graffigna, addressing guests, expressed gratitude to EGT’s international headquarters in Bulgaria for the backing and emphasized the necessity of an enduring presence in the country. “We had prepared ourselves a long time to open up these offices, and now we think we have reached that milestone“, he said. “We are arriving in Argentina with strength, supported by an excellent team of professionals and with total support from our worldwide leadership.”
Yogonet Interview Insights
In his Yogonet interview, Andrés Troelsen also referred to the significance of the step as a “strategic decision” to concentrate on Argentina in the global gaming market. “Argentina is not only crucial for Latin America but also on a global level”, he explained. “We are building a structure dedicated specifically to serving the national market, across both land-based and digital operations. Our expectations are high—we are global leaders in this industry and plan to develop our business exponentially to become a major player in Argentina.”
Troelsen again underscored the regional importance of the new office, noting that EGT currently has 30 offices worldwide, six of which are located in Latin America. With the opening in Buenos Aires, EGT expands locally to complement other offices already established in Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Brazil, and Peru. “This office will be for Argentina and Paraguay in the land segment and for delivering our digital solutions to Uruguay and Chile“, Troelsen said. “We’re aware Latin American markets require local attention and adaptation. That’s why we hire regional talent—to be near customers and provide the best possible service.”
Ambitious Plans Ahead
Looking forward, Troelsen revealed EGT’s ambitious growth plans for Argentina. “Our goal is to reach 40 employees in this office during the first stage of growth. We already have 10 people working here, and within a year, we expect to achieve our target”, he said.
The expansion follows EGT’s general strategy of combining innovation, client proximity, and investment in local expertise to further consolidate its role as a leading supplier in the regional gaming industry.
With its headquarters moved to Buenos Aires, EGT reaffirms its commitment to Latin America to establish closer relationships with regulators and operators and further expand its services across various markets. The move is not just an expression of confidence in the Argentine market but also a demonstration of a longer-term growth vision for the region.
