4th September 2025 – Yggdrasil has launched Bob Marlin Goes Splashing, the much-anticipated sequel to its classic fishing hit, bringing operators a fresh title packed with two popular Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs) – WildFight and RushingWilds.
Set in Bob’s bathroom, the 5×4 slot introduces a quirky theme featuring soap, sponges, and rubber ducks, all while giving players the chance to reel in a max win of 6,000x.
The rubber ducks play a pivotal role in triggering the game’s mechanics. Ducks can randomly engage in a WildFight, where victorious ducks transform into sticky wilds and award respins. During the bonus round, these wilds remain sticky for the duration of free spins, further elevating excitement.
Each duck that lands also contributes to a collection meter. If the meter is full when free spins begin, the duck becomes a super duck, guaranteeing victory in all WildFights. Scatters play a dual role:
One scatter triggers a WildFight
Two scatters activate a WildFight and upgrade every wild on screen with a 2x multiplier
Three or more scatters launch the free spins mode
Free spins introduce the RushingWilds mechanic, where every new wild not only lands but also boosts multipliers on existing wilds, significantly increasing win potential. To enhance engagement, a WildFight takes place on every free spin.
In certain jurisdictions, operators can offer two different buy features, including a boosted option that introduces a random super duck.
Following July’s release of Bob Marlin Goes Deep, this latest title expands Yggdrasil’s portfolio of sequels with distinctive themes and dynamic mechanics designed to keep players engaged.
Tomasz Kowalik, Head of Games Production at Yggdrasil, said:
“Bob Marlin Goes Splashing takes one of our much-loved characters and puts him in a much more relaxing environment, enjoying a duck-filled adventure incorporating two of our most popular GEMs.
With fast-paced gameplay and strong win potential, we’re confident that players will be filling their tubs with Bob’s latest adventure!”
