August 18, 2025 — Xpoint, a geolocation technology provider for the regulated gambling industry, has announced its support for the coalition of 50 U.S. attorneys general calling on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to intensify enforcement against offshore gambling operations.
Earlier this month, the bipartisan group of attorneys general representing all 50 states and territories sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. The letter formally requested federal intervention to address unlicensed foreign-based gambling platforms that violate U.S. law, costing states an estimated $4 billion annually in lost tax revenue and exposing consumers to significant risks.
Xpoint’s Chief Compliance and Regulatory Officer, and former Massachusetts First Assistant Attorney General, Ed Bedrosian, issued a statement underscoring the company’s position:
