Dec. 16, 2025 (CHARLESTON, W.Va.) — White Hat Studios has launched its online casino content on Delaware North’s Betly mobile sportsbook and casino in West Virginia, expanding the platform’s game catalog in one of the United States’ regulated iGaming markets.
The rollout gives Betly players access to White Hat Studios’ branded titles, including Ted™, The Goonies™, and the 7s Fire Blitz™ series. It also introduces the supplier’s Jackpot Royale™ and Jackpot Royale Express™ products to the Betly casino app.
White Hat Studios said its jackpot networks are live across more than 40 games. Jackpot Royale operates as a multi-game progressive system built around three shared jackpots, which can be deployed across a growing portfolio of jackpot-linked titles.
West Virginia sending a message to online casino operators
West Virginia has become a real market for U.S. online casino operators. The state opened the door to regulated online casino-style gaming under House Bill 2934, with oversight handled through the West Virginia Lottery. That means it lets licensed land-based properties, and their partners, offer statewide online casino play.
This has created a competitive, regulated market in which content breadth and retention tools are central to differentiation.
What Delaware North is aiming to achieve
Delaware North said it is continuing to build out Betly’s online casino offering in West Virginia. The company described the White Hat Studios integration as a way to expand both the quality and range of games available on the platform.
The addition comes as operators increasingly lean on recognizable intellectual property and networked jackpots to keep casino lobbies fresh. Betly launched its West Virginia online casino and sportsbook product in 2023, offering real-money casino games through its website and mobile apps.
Adding branded entertainment content and shared jackpot features fits into that broader strategy.
The deal is part of a strategic push to deliver top-tier content to U.S. operators
White Hat Studios’ leadership positioned the deal as part of its broader distribution push across regulated US markets.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Delaware North on the Betly online casino app in West Virginia,” said Daniel Lechner, SVP of Sales and Marketing at White Hat Studios.
“This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier content quickly and seamlessly to operators across the U.S., and we’re confident we’ll make an immediate impact for Betly and its players.”
Delaware North framed the partnership as an upgrade to Betly’s casino experience in the state.
“We’re excited to welcome White Hat Studios onto our Betly platform in West Virginia,” said Bob Akeret, general manager for Betly. “Their reputation for delivering engaging, high-quality games, especially branded content, makes them an ideal partner as we continue to elevate our casino experience.”
Daniel Lechner, SVP Sales and Marketing at White Hat Studios, said the company expects the Betly rollout to move quickly.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Delaware North on the Betly online casino app in West Virginia,” Lechner said. “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier content quickly and seamlessly to operators across the U.S. With our portfolio of fan-favorite branded titles and innovative features like Jackpot Royale™, we’re confident we’ll make an immediate impact for Betly and its players.”
The bigger picture: content and retention in regulated markets
U.S. iGaming operators compete on acquisition, but retention often decides performance. That puts pressure on game catalogs. It also increases demand for features that keep sessions going.
Jackpot networks are one approach. They can create shared jackpot pools across multiple titles. That matters because it encourages cross-game play. It also gives operators a promotional layer that does not rely only on bonus offers.
White Hat Studios has pushed hard on this style of content-led growth since entering the U.S. regulated market. The Betly launch extends that approach into another key state partnership.
