Malta, 19 November 2025 – The Mill Adventure (TMA) has named Cristina Grigore as its new Chief of Staff, supporting the company’s continued high-growth trajectory and increasing need for cross-functional alignment.
The move follows two other senior hires as TMA expands its operational and regulatory footprint across global markets.
New Chief of Staff role supports strategic alignment across a fast-scaling organisation
TMA has created the role to enhance decision-making and coordinate strategic execution across leadership functions.
Cristina Grigore joins the executive team after more than four years with TMA, during which she played a central role in shaping the company’s culture and internal operations. Her appointment formalises responsibilities that sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and organisational enablement. The company highlighted the need for a central leadership function that facilitates clarity, momentum, and coordinated delivery as TMA enters a new phase of scaling.
A business and people leader with more than 15 years of experience in technology-driven environments, Grigore brings strategic leadership and a strong commitment to sustainable organisational growth. Her background spans senior roles across iGaming and technology companies, giving her visibility into both structural and people-centric aspects of high-growth settings.
Leadership evolution reflects TMA’s focus on growth, governance, and operational depth
The appointment complements recent additions to the senior team as the company scales globally.
The creation of the Chief of Staff role follows two recent senior hires at TMA. Gerardo Prieto joined earlier this year as Chief Information Security Officer, while Bjørnar Heggernes was appointed Chief Commercial Officer. Together, these appointments expand leadership coverage across security, commercial development, and strategic execution, supporting TMA’s continued expansion into regulated markets.
In her new role, Grigore will support strategic planning, operational alignment, and cross-departmental coordination. TMA noted that her previous work within the organisation helped establish a culture based on mastery, collaboration, and ambition, values that influence the company’s approach to iGaming technology development.
TMA continues to prioritise innovation and compliance within regulated markets
The company maintains a product roadmap shaped by technical expertise and market-specific requirements.
Headquartered in Malta, TMA specialises in technology-driven iGaming solutions with an emphasis on regulated market compliance and partner-led growth. Its product portfolio includes SmartLobbies, a fully automated casino lobby management system powered by AI, and Betpool, a social feature designed for shared iGaming experiences across casino, live casino, and sportsbook verticals.
The organisation’s investment in senior leadership reflects ongoing efforts to scale these solutions in line with market demand, while ensuring internal coordination remains aligned with regulatory, technical, and operational requirements.
Leaders reflect on the significance of the appointment
Both Grigore and TMA’s CEO highlighted the importance of leadership development during a high-growth phase.
Cristina Grigore, Chief of Staff at The Mill Adventure, said:
“With this appointment, TMA is reaffirming its stance as a career building organisation: a company that enables people to grow in accordance with their ambitions.”
“I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to step into the space where strategy is built. I welcome the challenge of making direct impact on the business direction and inherently, the future of an inspiring company like The Mill Adventure.”
Dario Arruda, Co-founder and CEO at The Mill Adventure, said:
“Cristina has been a driving force behind our culture, one that values authenticity, collaboration and curiosity as much as it does innovation and performance.”
“Her strategic acumen and deep understanding of organisational dynamics have been instrumental in helping The Mill Adventure evolve from a startup platform company into a cohesive, high-performing organisation. As Chief of Staff, Cristina will play a pivotal role in steering our next phase of growth, fostering alignment and turning complexity into opportunity.”
The appointment forms part of TMA’s broader investment in leadership and operational depth as the company scales its technology, compliance, and commercial capabilities across international markets.
