Tecnet Asia Capitalizes on Service Demand to Drive Regional Growth

Philippines-based gaming services provider Tecnet Asia Inc. is reporting a significant increase in business activity, driven by a strategic expansion of its technical support capabilities across key Asian markets. Suat Sirin, the company’s founder and president, recently highlighted that the firm’s trajectory has outpaced initial projections, placing it on a firm path for continued development. Operating out of its headquarters in Clark, a major leisure and gaming hub northwest of Manila, Tecnet has successfully established itself as a critical link in the supply chain for land-based gaming operators throughout the region.

In a recent interview, Sirin noted that the company is currently servicing a diverse array of jurisdictions. Beyond the Philippines, Tecnet extended its reach into Sri Lanka, Goa, Nepal, and Vietnam. This diversification allowed the company to tap into upcoming opportunities in different regulatory environments, offering a safeguard against the fluctuations in the market and guaranteeing a steady stream of projects.

A Service-Driven Strategic Shift

Even though Tecnet was first founded in Singapore, Sirin chose to relocate its operations to the Philippines back in 2016. The decision was due to the strong growth potential seen in the gaming sector of the Philippines, a bet that seemed to have paid off. According to the company president, the technical support segment has evolved into the group’s single largest revenue contributor, overshadowing pure equipment sales.

Sirin explained that while the distribution of gaming machines and hospitality products remains a core function, the accompanying support services are what truly cement client loyalty. By offering ongoing maintenance and technical expertise for the hardware they supply, Tecnet creates enduring relationships with operators. The company ensures that through the service-first model, the client will continue to be the key to its initial point of sale, promoting a cycle of recurring business and operational reliance.

Expanding the Partner Portfolio

The company’s growth is further bolstered by an expanding roster of high-profile distribution deals. In mid-2023, Tecnet secured a partnership to distribute equipment for Austrian gaming giant Novomatic AG within the Philippine market. It also serves as a distributor for Australian slot manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd. The portfolio extends to other specialized suppliers, including casino equipment maker APEX Pro Gaming, seating manufacturer Patir Casino Seating, and lock producer Miwa Lock Co Ltd.

Most recently, at the start of 2025, Tecnet was named the official distributor in the Philippines for NRT Technology Corp., a specialist in cash handling and transaction equipment. This addition has strengthened Tecnet’s foothold in Manila’s integrated resorts, where it now services NRT kiosks and supports various gaming machines. The firm also maintains service agreements with Casino Filipino venues operated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR), cementing its status as a comprehensive service provider in its largest market.

Strengthening Regional Infrastructure

Beyond the Philippines, Tecnet is actively upgrading infrastructure in other Asian territories. Sirin highlighted the operations of Tecnet Sri Lanka, which has become a vital support hub for casinos in that country. Recent transactions include the sale of over 60 gaming machines to three different Sri Lankan properties, alongside initiatives to modernize their casino management systems.

A key component of this modernization drive is the deployment of the MyACP casino management system. This year, Tecnet successfully installed the system at Bally’s Casino in Colombo. The company, meanwhile, has lined up a number of additional installations across the region as an official distributor and technical support provider for MyACP in emerging Asian markets, signaling a strong pipeline for future projects.

Maintaining the Rising Trajectory

Strategic distribution agreements coupled with an unyielding focus on technical support have positioned Tecnet for sustained success. From the casino floor in Manila to the gaming halls of Colombo, meeting the operational needs has managed to carve a resilient niche for the firm within the industry. Sirin underlined that it is not only the brands represented but the holistic service each customer receives, which constitutes the value proposition. With new properties opening their doors and existing venues looking to upgrade systems, Tecnet’s leadership remains confident that the business is well-placed to capitalize on the region’s expanding gaming landscape.
