In the sponsorship domain, the Brazilian football domain remains dynamic, and the role of the betting field is expanding, just like the role of financial institutions, real estate, and other industry leaders. Based on the Sponsorship Map study performed by the Ibope Repucom firm, the Série A tournament had a total of 164 different brands presented throughout the jerseys as of the year 2025.
This figure shows an increase of 24% compared to the previous year, which witnessed the participation of 132 companies. The figures highlight the financial power of Brazilian football, but it can be seen that it is gaining popularity with many different sectors.
Financial Sector Maintains Leadership for Third Consecutive Year
Despite the growth in terms of sponsorship in sports betting, the sector did not lead in terms of total brands. Once again, the financial sector dominated as it did in the previous seasons, and it did so for the third year in a row. A total of 26 different financial sector brands were on the jerseys of clubs in Serie A.
This is up by 30% compared to 2024, further evidencing a robust industry presence within Brazil’s football industry. Financial sectors, including banks and other financial companies, still regard football as an important platform for further brand visibility.
Real Estate and Construction See the Fastest Growth
In second place in the rank, there is the sector of “real estate, construction, and finishing.” This sector presented the highest proportion of growth in comparison to all other segments studied in the analysis.
The quantity of brands from this category increased from merely seven in 2024 to 19 in 2025, depicting an astonishing growth in value by an astonishing figure of 171%. The information propounds an increased interest from construction and property firms in brand associations with football clubs due to ever-increasing stadium visibility and broadcasting coverage.
Betting Sector Dominates Main Shirt Sponsorships
Completing the top three segments were the emergence of the sports betting industry, with 18 different brands being included amongst the uniforms of the 20 teams competing in Série A. Although this was not the largest segment by means of brands, this industry exhibited growth by recording a staggering 20% growth compared to the previous year.
Incidentally, one of the most dominant industries in the primary jersey sponsorship category involved betting firms. In total, there were 13 different betting firms that appeared in the master sponsor category of jersey sponsorships.
Market Stability Reaches Highest Level Since 2021
In addition to growth, this study also showed stability concerning the market. It was observed that the brand retention rate reached 55% by 2025, which is a record high since 2021. This implies a long-lasting relationship between a number of football clubs and brands.
Speaking on this trend, Danilo Amâncio, marketing coordinator at Ibope Repucom, said, “The sponsorship market on Série A uniforms is experiencing a clear cycle of expansion and maturity. The total volume of brands on Série A uniforms has shown a significant increase of 24%, the largest annual variation since 2019, in 2025, confirming the appeal of the best of Brazilian football beyond its natural focus on sponsorship by the wagering segment.” The findings offer support to a sponsorship ecosystem that not only increases but also becomes more balanced and sustainable in different industries.
