SiGMA Central Europe B2C Auction raises €73,800 for the SiGMA Foundation

Rome, Italy – The SiGMA Central Europe 2025 B2C Awards delivered an evening of creativity, competition, and generosity at Cinecittà Studios in Rome.

While the event celebrated standout achievements in gaming, it also raised €73,800 for the SiGMA Foundation, showing the industry’s ongoing commitment to meaningful global impact.

A cinematic setting for a cause

Under the lights of Cinecittà, the gaming industry proved that its influence can extend far beyond business.

Hosted on 4 November, the charity auction followed the B2C Awards ceremony, where guests gathered among marble columns and golden studio lighting to support projects that change lives. The energy in the room was contagious as each bid grew into a moment of shared purpose.

With Rick Goddard leading the auction, the night combined humour, storytelling, and spirited generosity. Delegates raised their glasses in applause as each piece found its bidder, transforming celebration into action and luxury into long-term community value.

Giving back through global projects

Funds raised in Rome will support education and development initiatives across six countries.

The €73,800 collected from the auction will contribute to a series of SiGMA Foundation projects planned for 2026. Each initiative focuses on education, sustainability, and access to basic resources for underserved communities:

  • Bonga, Ethiopia: Installation of water tanks for Wush Wush Kindergarten and four new classrooms near the Women’s Empowerment Centre.
  • Jimma, Ethiopia: Refurbishment of St Peter & St Paul Primary School to ensure safe, weatherproof classrooms.
  • Kasese, Uganda: Construction of a new kindergarten and expansion of the local primary school to meet rising enrolments.
  • Iquitos, Peru: Rebuilding of the Casa Betania Night Shelter and construction of dormitories for river patients awaiting care.
  • Puerto Barrios, Guatemala: Continuation of the Clay Filters and Clean Stoves Project, improving health and environmental conditions.
  • Philippines: Expansion of education and welfare projects, including WiFi access for e-learning, a feeding programme in Tondo, and upgrades at the Jose Depiro Formation Centre in Bataan.

Each project reflects SiGMA’s wider mission: empowering local communities through education, safety, and sustainable development.
