Sigma 2025 Is Heading to Milan!

November has been the month for anyone in affiliate marketing or casino operations, thanks to Sigma. For years, industry professionals have descended on Malta to network, showcase, and party (let’s be honest, there’s a lot of partying). But after years of explosive growth, it’s official: Sigma has outgrown Malta.

The solution? Sigma 2025 will be held in Milan—and it’s still happening in November.

Quick Note: Our Earlier Mix-Up

In a previous article, we speculated that Sigma might be shifting to September due to swirling rumors during Sigma 2024. However, we now have clarity: Sigma’s flagship event will stay in its traditional November slot, even as it relocates to Milan. Thanks for bearing with us while we sorted fact from fiction!

Why Milan? Here’s What Makes It a Perfect Fit:

Moving Sigma to Milan isn’t just about finding more space; it’s about elevating the experience for everyone attending. Here’s why Milan is set to impress:

  • Smooth transport: Getting around Milan is a breeze, thanks to its efficient public transport system.
  • Global connectivity: With Milan’s well-connected airports, attendees will have more direct flight options, making the trip faster and easier.
  • Plenty of places to stay: Milan offers a bigger and better selection of hotels to handle the massive crowd Sigma attracts.
  • The food!: Sorry, Malta, but Milan’s culinary scene is on a whole different level. Get ready for pasta, pizza, and risotto galore!

Malta Isn’t Gone from Sigma’s Map

While Sigma’s flagship event is relocating, Malta isn’t being abandoned. During Sigma 2024, there was plenty of chatter about the move to Milan, but the island still has a role to play. A smaller Sigma conference will be held in Malta in November to replace the Sigma Budapest event.

So, while Malta’s no longer the main stage for Sigma, it’s still a key player in the lineup. November in Malta will now be a more intimate affair, giving it a fresh dynamic while Milan takes the big spotlight.

Sigma Stays in November

Let’s clear this up: Sigma 2025 is not moving to September. The flagship conference will remain in its iconic November slot, as it has for years. This is great news for the industry—November has always been “Sigma season,” and now it’s staying that way, just in a bigger, more sophisticated setting.

For attendees, this means you can keep your calendars marked for November, with all the networking, showcases, and nightlife Sigma is known for.

Political Ripples in Malta

Sigma isn’t just a big conference; it’s a big deal for Malta’s economy. In 2024, the event pumped an estimated €100 million into the local economy. Unsurprisingly, its move to Milan has raised eyebrows—even Malta’s Prime Minister had something to say. Speaking to the Times of Malta, he said:

“You cannot have the biggest Sigma conference move to Milan instead of staying in our country.”

The move to Milan highlights how much Sigma has grown. It’s no longer just a Maltese event—it’s a global one. But Malta’s smaller November conference will still play a key role in the brand’s presence, maintaining its strong ties to the island.
