Atucha Strategic Advisory (ASA) has added Sentient Studios to its portfolio as part of an agreement that will see the advisory firm represent the AI live dealer studio across Latin America.
Sentient Studios was founded by FanDuel co-founders Nigel Eccles and Rob Jones. Under the agreement, ASA founder and CEO Ramiro Atucha will become a board advisor to Sentient Studios while overseeing its commercial representation throughout the Latin American market.
ASA to Lead Sentient Studios’ Latin American Expansion
ASA will manage Sentient Studios’ advisory and commercial activities across Latin America, including relationships with operators and platforms as the company introduces its AI-powered live casino technology to markets across the region.
Sentient Studios made its public debut in April 2026 as a B2B provider offering online casino operators the ability to deploy AI-powered dealers within their live casino operations.
Its software-based technology provides an alternative to the traditional live dealer model. Operators can use the solution to expand table availability, create customised dealer personas and branded environments, and adapt experiences for different player segments.
AI Dealer Technology Already Live With BetHog
Sentient Studios’ AI dealer technology is already being used by BetHog, the crypto casino and sportsbook founded by Eccles and Jones.
The company’s first AI-powered blackjack dealer, Sunny, went live in October 2025. According to BetHog, Sunny has delivered stronger player retention and satisfaction compared with its live dealer equivalent.
ASA will now use its network of operators and suppliers to develop Sentient Studios’ commercial presence throughout Latin America. This will include introducing the technology to operators and platforms while advising the company on its approach to individual markets.
The agreement also brings AI-powered live casino technology into ASA’s portfolio, alongside its existing partnerships covering virtual sports, bingo, casino technology and platform solutions.
Atucha Sees Opportunity for AI Live Casino in LatAm
Ramiro Atucha, founder of Atucha Strategic Advisory, said:
