San Lorenzo Unveils 2026 Kit in Landmark Event in Buenos Aires

Argentine football club San Lorenzo officially unveiled its 2026 kit in a massive public event held in association with sportswear company Atomik. The unveiling took place in a significant public area located in the intersection of San Juan and Boedo Avenues in Buenos Aires. This intersection is of significant historical and cultural value to the football club.

A large number of football fans assembled in this area, where a stage had been arranged in the middle of the road to celebrate the unveiling of the 2026 jersey. The main event of the night took place at 9:30 p.m., when a massive football jersey measuring 25 meters in height and 18 meters in width, colored blue and red, was raised into the air with a crane and placed above the assembled football fans. Immediately, this became the main point of attraction for all the football fans and spectators present in the area. According to sources, this is considered to be the largest football jersey unveiled in Argentine football history.

After this, players of the football club and the head coach of the club appeared on stage wearing the 2026 jersey that would be used in all matches in the upcoming football season.

Design Inspired by Buenos Aires Culture

For the 2026 jersey, Atomik took inspiration from a style of decorative art known as “Fileteado porteño“, which is commonly observed in Buenos Aires. This is a style of decorative art that is usually observed in various areas of Buenos Aires in the form of paintings and on vehicles.

This style of decorative art is a significant aspect of the football club San Lorenzo and Boedo, as it is located in this area and is closely associated with it.

Casino Buenos Aires Online Becomes New Main Sponsor

The kit presentation comes after San Lorenzo announced its new main sponsorship deal with Casino Buenos Aires Online. The deal is set to run for 10 months from March to December.

According to club officials, the deal is set to triple the revenue currently earned from the same sponsorship position.

The deal has been signed by San Lorenzo president Sergio Costantino and club secretary Martín Saiz, as well as Darío Montero, who is the general manager of Casino Buenos Aires, and María Laura Ríos, who is the marketing director at Casino Buenos Aires.

In the weeks leading up to the announcement of the deal, it is claimed that the club has been holding discussions with several potential sponsors. Among the sponsors is said to be from the betting and gaming sector.

A New Commercial Chapter for the Club

Casino Buenos Aires Online has never sponsored a football club before, thus indicating a new beginning for the company.

San Lorenzo Club is set to enter a new era with its new partnership with Casino Buenos Aires Online. This comes after fintech company IEB+ ended its deal with San Lorenzo Club as its main sponsor.

With the presentation of its new kit and its latest commercial sponsor, San Lorenzo Club is set to improve its brand and financial structure ahead of the 2026 season.
