RubyPlay unveils studio-based content ecosystem designed for localisation, customisation and global scale

8th January 2026 – RubyPlay has announced a significant evolution of its operating model, unveiling a studio-based, layered content ecosystem that unites five distinct studios under a single technology and distribution framework.

The restructuring positions RubyPlay as a scalable organisation centred around market-focused studios that operate independently while sharing core technology, infrastructure, and distribution channels. This approach also enables the company to seamlessly integrate additional studios in the future.

At the heart of the new ecosystem is RubyPlay Studio, supported by Koala Games, Mad Hat Games, Xslots, and a dedicated studio focused on bespoke and branded content. Each studio contributes uniquely to the wider framework while maintaining creative autonomy.

Koala Games, the first of the additional studios to go live in July 2025, has already gained strong market traction with titles including Voltage Blitz Vortex and Voltage Blitz Rapid. These games have delivered bold visuals, high-energy gameplay, and strong commercial performance, reinforcing the effectiveness of the newly adopted model.

RubyPlay’s ecosystem is built on a layered structure rather than traditional operational silos, allowing multiple creative studios to function cohesively on a single, robust technology platform. While each studio operates with a defined creative vision, the shared infrastructure ensures consistency, efficiency, and quality at scale.

This strategic development strengthens RubyPlay’s position as a long-term content partner for operators seeking flexibility, brand control, and market relevance.

Tsachi Maimon, Chief Executive Officer atRubyPlay, said:

“Since joining RubyPlay, it’s been clear to me that the company’s strengths lie in the combination of creative independence and a shared foundation. Structuring the business as a layered studio-based ecosystem allows each studio to focus on its own markets and creative direction, while operating on the same technology, infrastructure and distribution framework. This structure allows RubyPlay to scale its operations more efficiently.

The successful launch of Koala Games earlier this year demonstrated the power of this approach in practice, and the continued expansion of the ecosystem, including a dedicated studio for bespoke and branded content, allows us to collaborate more closely with operators and deliver content that is adaptable to their needs.”
