RMG extends LBO distribution agreement with SIS

7th March 2025 – Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and Sports Information Services (SIS) have announced a significant extension of their partnership for the distribution and transmission of audio-visual and data from RMG racecourses to licensed betting offices (LBOs) across the UK and Ireland.

The renewed agreement ensures that high-quality, comprehensive horse racing content from RMG’s prestigious portfolio of racecourses will continue to be a central feature of SIS’s LBO services until the end of 2028. This includes coverage from The Jockey Club courses—such as Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom Downs, Newmarket, and Sandown Park—alongside independent venues like York, Goodwood, and Ayr.

Richard Ames, CEO of SIS, expressed his enthusiasm for the extended partnership:

“I am delighted to have extended our arrangement with RMG for a further three-year period. Over the last eight years of representing RMG’s rights the relationship between the parties has gone from strength to strength, and this new arrangement is testament to our collaborative working practices.”

Nick Mills, CEO of RMG, also welcomed the deal:

“We look forward to extending the partnership and working closely with SIS and our LBO partners to grow interest and betting on RMG content. LBO revenue remains a significant media rights income for the sport and this deal further increases the value of RMG’s content in the LBO marketplace.”

This agreement reinforces the commitment of both organizations to delivering premium horseracing content to the betting industry, ensuring fans and operators continue to benefit from extensive, high-quality coverage.
