The Federação Paulista de Futebol, also known as FPF, and Rivalo, one of the pioneering sports betting brands in Latin America, have inked a deal described as the largest collective sponsorship agreement in the history of Brazilian football. This positions Rivalo as one of the leading supporters of the sport in the state of São Paulo, as well as one of the most considerable investors in the country’s football ecosystem.
Under the deal, Rivalo has secured a wide-ranging sponsorship arrangement featuring field signage in Paulistão A1 games, as well as naming rights to the Paulistão A2, Paulistão A3, Paulistão A4, and the Copa Paulista. The company will also appear on the jersey of Capivariano in the A1 competition, and on the kits of 45 of the 48 participating teams throughout the four lower divisions in 2026. With sponsorship across 46 clubs, Rivalo therefore becomes the biggest football sponsor in Brazil by the number of teams supported. The move brings in a recurring revenue stream for clubs, boosting financial sustainability across the state’s football setup.
A New Collective and Transparent Sponsorship Model
The FPF played a main role in structuring the agreement, working like a connecting link between Rivalo and the adherent clubs. For the entity, the project is underlain by a collective, transparent, and innovative sponsoring structure with its proposal for the strengthening of the competitive environment-under guarantees of fairness and governance among institutions. Rivalo will support the FPF’s Integrity Program, a pioneer in Brazil in the fight against match-fixing, to raise the level of ethics in sports.
FPF president Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos stated that this partnership shows in scale and impact: “This project will redefine the concept of sports sponsorship in Brazil. Besides being an innovative one, the agreement with Rivalo strengthens strategic pillars of São Paulo football.”
He added, underlining the exclusiveness of the model: “This is a unique model. Never before has a brand sponsored 46 Clubs and five Competitions at the same time. This will develop further income for the Clubs within a novel framework with great opportunities to grow in the coming seasons.”
Rivalo Reinforces Long-Term Commitment to Brazilian Football
For Rivalo, the deal represents a long-term strategic commitment both to Brazilian football and, particularly, to São Paulo’s football ecosystem, which has always been historically recognized as one of the most important talent-developing spots in the country.
Daniel Eskinazi, general director of Rivalo, emphasized the greater meaning of this investment: “São Paulo football is one of the foundations of Brazilian football. It is where many talents, stories, and passions are born before they reach the world. By supporting this structure, from the base to the top of the pyramid, Rivalo is making an unprecedented commitment to the development of the sport in a broad, responsible, and sustainable way.”
He added, “Being the main partner of the Federação Paulista de Futebol and being present in almost all the clubs in these competitions is comparable, in scale, to supporting an entire World Cup. It is a project that values the collective, strengthens the clubs, and reinforces our purpose of investing in football that forms athletes, fans, and stories.”
Implementation Timeline and Strategic Outlook
The sponsorship rollout will begin with the opening round of Paulistão on January 10, with Capivariano taking the field under the new sponsorship. The Paulistão A2 Rivalo kicks off the following day, further cementing the brand’s visibility across competitions.
Rivalo, since January 1, 2025, with Olavir Ltda., has a federal license provided by the Ministry of Finance of Brazil. It boasts an outstanding platform for sports betting and a wide casino portfolio, committed to technology, security, and user experience.
In this sense, by embracing a multi-level, collective sponsorship architecture, the agreement goes beyond conventional brand exposure and instead foments structural development, financial reinforcement for clubs, and institutional integrity within São Paulo football.
With the continuous movement towards professionalism in the commercial and regulatory environment of Brazilian football, the relationship established between Rivalo and the FPF stands at a milestone, signifying a new era in how sports sponsorships drive sustainable growth, competitive equity, and long-term value creation across the football ecosystem.
