PlaySmart, a B2C online gaming operator, has obtained an Isle of Man gambling licence, marking a key development in the company’s expansion plans and highlighting the continued attractiveness of the jurisdiction for established iGaming businesses.
The licence was issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) with support from local iGaming consultancy SolutionsHub. It forms part of PlaySmart’s broader strategy to expand its presence within the B2C gaming sector.
As part of the PlayGaming Group, a technology-focused gaming platform provider, PlaySmart said the licence represents an important stage in the Group’s ongoing development. The approval enables the company to provide its services directly to players under the Isle of Man’s internationally recognised regulatory framework.

Following the approval, PlaySmart will focus on further developing and scaling its B2C operations while building on its existing platform expertise within the Isle of Man’s established regulatory environment.
