Planet Hollywood Resorts International, behind the famous Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, just signed a licensing deal to brand Georgia’s first full-integrated resort. It’s going up in Tbilisi, right where Western Asia meets Eastern Europe. Teaming with Orbi Group, Block Group, and Iconic Entertainment, the project stars a 500-room Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino alongside a 600-room Radisson Blu luxury hotel.
A 50,000 square feet casino takes the first position, which will have a 4,000-seat venue for shows and events. Over 70,000 square feet of Harvey Nichols retail will complete the package. Tbilisi’s blend of old and new makes it an attractive candidate for this type of entertainment destination, which can put it squarely in the middle as a new hub for gaming and entertainment.
Partners See Tbilisi as Breakout Star
Robert Earl, Planet Hollywood’s founder, called it a key move in the brand’s global push. He highlighted Tbilisi’s character and buzz, noting the partners are building a spot that fuses entertainment, hospitality, and real experiences fit for the local scene. It’s about creating something bold yet true to what the market craves.
Block Group CEO Tornike Janashvili sees it as Tbilisi’s big moment. The resort will definitely boost this city’s international appeal and attract visitors from all over the world. This will also create a new level of hospitality and entertainment in this region. This country’s location between two continents definitely puts it in a better position. This will create a new hub for people looking to explore this region and enjoy its culture and gaming options.
Packed Lineup From Casino to Retail
The scale stands out. The 500-room Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino brings Vegas-style rooms with flashy decor and Hollywood touches tuned for Tbilisi. The 600-room Radisson Blu adds polish for luxury seekers and business crowds. That 50,000-square-foot casino floor will run tables, slots, and VIP zones.
A 4,000-seat entertainment space handles major acts, sports, or events. Harvey Nichols covers more than 70,000 square feet with high-end fashion and goods. Dining spans global cuisines, while nightlife keeps the energy going. It’s classic integrated resort design—gaming as one slice of a full experience.
More Details Coming Soon
Planet Hollywood plans to share opening dates, entertainment lineups, and partnerships in the coming months. Orbi Group, Block Group, and Iconic Entertainment drive construction and ops. Tbilisi’s prime location is the fuel for the hype, pitting it against regional competitors.
With the pull of Planet Hollywood, the class of Radisson Blu, and the retail pull of Harvey Nichols, the resort appears ready to make a big impact on the tourism scene in Georgia. Updates will clarify when gamblers, shoppers, and fans can dive in.
