In an attempt to reshape the intersection of politics and business in Brazil, Ernildo Júnior—widely known as one of the nation’s most influential men in the business of online betting—is establishing his official foray into politics. Most well-known for being co-owner of premium betting brands PixBet, FlaBet, and BetVIP, Ernildo is poised to run for the first alternate seat in the Senate in the 2026 election.
The news was exposed by renowned journalist Fabiano Gomes, who announced on his program that Ernildo already secretly works for being included on a leading ticket, although the name of the potential leading Senate candidate he will support hasn’t been disclosed.
From Local Influence to National Ambition
Having begun in Serra Branca, a tiny town in the Paraíba backlands, Ernildo has already demonstrated himself to be a force in politics. His effort brought his brother into the mayoralty of their hometown, where he matched political savvy with street-level organization.
