Paradise Entertainment Ltd of Macau plans to resume LT Game operations in the North American casino market in light of the HK$82.6 million (US$10.5 million) loss the company posted in the first half year ended June 30, 2026.
It is worth mentioning that one year earlier, the company registered a profit of HK$29.0 million (US$3.7 million). Paradise’s casino management business ended after the closure of Casino Kam Pek Paradise in December 2025.
The satellite casino, which Paradise managed under the licence of SJM Resorts, S.A., had contributed HK$382.6 million (US$48.8 million) in revenue and segment profit of HK$148.8 million (US$19.0 million) in the 1H of 2025.
Supplier Revenue Declines
Revenues of the continuing operations, including the supplier segment, were down 67.1% y-o-y at HK$41.3 million (US$5.3 million).
The company had a loss from the EBITDA standpoint of HK$74.4 million (US$9.5 million), while last year it was a positive value at HK$41.3 million (US$5.3 million). The supplier part had a loss of HK$54.0 million (US$6.9 million).
Paradise attributed the change mainly to lower revenue from the sale of Live Multi-Game terminals in Macau and higher research and development and other costs in the business segment.
Black Coral Awaits Approval
Paradise expects LT Game’s performance to improve following the anticipated Macau approval of its next-generation LMG platform, Black Coral. The system introduces a major overhaul of the player-facing interfaces and backend floor-management software.
The company is advancing through the final testing stages and expects to obtain full regulatory approval for a commercial launch in the 2H of 2026. Paradise said the approval would allow layout expansions and system retrofits across major gaming facilities.
Expansion Across Gaming Markets
Paradise is also seeking to expand LT Game’s presence on gaming floors internationally. In June, the company received Approved Manufacturer status from Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority, creating a route for direct commercial sales and system placements with Singapore casino operators.
Its Manila showroom is intended to serve as a regional base for expanding its electronic gaming machine footprint across Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia.
Beyond Asia, Paradise is preparing to re-enter major North American gaming jurisdictions. The company is working on product localisation, technical certification, and product testing to deploy customised electronic gaming products through established local distributors with the required regulatory licenses.
Paradise said the distribution strategy was aimed at capturing replacement-hardware and system-upgrading demand in the North American gaming sector.
AI Initiatives Also Underway
Paradise is pursuing early-stage AI initiatives that use its gaming technology expertise to develop scalable solutions for multiple industries. The company hopes these projects will create potential new revenue streams and growth opportunities beyond its core gaming business.
The plans form part of Paradise’s broader effort to diversify following the end of its Macau casino management operations. The company is seeking to build its supplier business through new products, additional system placements, and entry into markets where local distribution partners already hold the required regulatory licenses. LT Game’s North American re-entry, Black Coral approval, international expansion, and early AI work are now central to the supplier arm’s development strategy.
