The PAGCOR Gender and Development Digital Corner has officially launched, marking a new step in the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation’s commitment to workplace equality.
The platform is designed to promote gender inclusivity, empowerment, and awareness across all PAGCOR offices. For context on the country’s wider regulatory environment, see gambling regulation in the Philippines.
PAGCOR Gender and Development Digital Corner promotes inclusivity
The new digital space highlights PAGCOR’s ongoing effort to make gender-focused information easier to access.
According to the agency, the Digital Corner features Gender and Development (GAD) content such as news, announcements, and project updates. It also provides links to laws and initiatives that support equality and diversity.
From October 16 to November 16, 2025, the platform will appear as desktop wallpaper across all PAGCOR offices. Each computer will display the new GAD logo and a QR code that links directly to the site.
PAGCOR reaffirms its gender equality goals
The agency said the launch supports Republic Act No. 9710, the Magna Carta of Women.
PAGCOR explained that the new space highlights its continuing support for inclusivity in the workplace. Moreover, it aims to inspire employees to engage with gender-related programmes and better understand women’s rights. The Commission believes awareness is the first step to creating lasting change within its organisation.
PAGCOR expands social responsibility initiatives
The digital launch forms part of a wider effort to improve community well-being through corporate social responsibility.
Earlier this week, PAGCOR donated PHP141 million (US$2.4 million) worth of Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). These 70 fully equipped vehicles will go to local government units (LGUs) to improve access to healthcare and emergency transport. Further insights in the Philippines iGaming Market Research Report (2025) analyses PAGCOR’s broader impact on the national gaming landscape.
Through initiatives like the PAGCOR Gender and Development Digital Corner, the regulator continues to link responsible gaming oversight with social impact.
Could this new platform become a model for inclusivity across the wider Philippine gaming industry?
