Industry Challenges
82 gaming establishments were run by 48 licensed businesses in Ontario, competing with the government-controlled Ontario Lotto and Gaming Corporation. The operator rivalry shifted in 2025.
In particular, this is mainly due to the debut of DraftKings, Golden Nugget Online Casino, and the exit of multiple smaller businesses.
New Arrivals
Current proposals from DAZN Bet, Absolute Bet, and High Roller Technologies represent some of the anticipated new players in 2026. Thus, indicating ongoing industry growth and rivalry.
Operators show that steady income and growth are still possible in a strict marketplace by maintaining player engagement. Additionally, improving platforms and adopting strict financial control.
