PhilWeb Corporation and Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc. have formally launched the Okada Play online gaming platform in the Philippines, adding a new digital layer to Okada Manila’s expansion strategy. The commercial rollout was confirmed on May 13, 2026, following the partnership unveiled by the 2 companies in March.
The platform is powered by PhilWeb’s Online Gaming Platform solution and brings together gaming content, platform technology, and customer service infrastructure within what the companies described as a regulated framework for the Philippine online gaming market. The launch gives Okada Manila another channel through which to extend its brand beyond the physical resort.
Digital Expansion Moves Forward
The companies said the new platform is intended to support Okada Manila’s broader omnichannel strategy by linking its land-based operations with digital channels. That approach is designed to create additional revenue opportunities beyond the resort floor while allowing the brand to reach players nationwide through an online format.
PhilWeb president Brian Ng said the official launch of Okada Play shows the company can execute and deploy end-to-end digital infrastructure for some of the industry’s best-known luxury brands. He said the platform will allow Tiger Resort to extend the Okada Manila gaming experience to digital players across the country.
The launch marks a practical step in the resort’s move into online gaming, with the companies now shifting from announcement stage to commercial deployment. By combining gaming content with technology and support services, the platform is positioned as part of a wider effort to connect the resort’s physical and digital operations more closely.
Platform And Partnership
Okada Play builds on the partnership first disclosed in March, when the 2 companies outlined plans for a joint online gaming platform. The most recent statement indicates that the project has entered into operation and has become commercially viable in the country.
According to Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc., the launch is a significant event for Okada Manila as far as its digital expansion is concerned. President and chief operating officer Nobuki Sato said Okada Play complements the company’s land-based operations and its existing online platform, while also making use of PhilWeb’s technology and operational expertise.
The platform has been developed within a regulated framework for the local online gaming market, which the companies said was a key part of the project.
