OIG Gaming Brazil, the operator of the 7GAMES, BETÃO, R7, and ICE brands, performed one of the biggest social support actions ever recorded within the state of Piauí in 2025. Throughout the year, the company donated more than 291,000 food baskets and basic household items, and supplies for charitable institutions in several municipalities. The value of the donations exceeded R$15 million, according to reports by GP1.
Under the leadership of entrepreneur Fernando Oliveira Lima, also called Fernandin OIG, the organization reinforced humanitarian assistance and community well-being programs. The donations reached 291,488 basic food baskets and helped an estimated one million people in vulnerable situations across the state. Besides the mere distribution of food aid, the initiative comprised the supply of 42,196 sets of bed and bath linen, whose recipients were hospitals, care homes, and social institutions.
Support for Social, Health, and Community Organizations
The donations reached a broad network of organizations that provide essential care, health assistance, social inclusion programs, and community services. Among the institutions supported were the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (Apae), Abrigo São Lucas, Lar de Maria, Abrigo Manain, the Association of the Blind, the Fraternity is the Path Institution, Project Make Someone Happy, Volunteers of Love, Sanctuary Our Lady of Peace, Instituto Preça, Project Love for Others, Fundação Mandacaru, Project Coloring Life, and Solidarity in Action.
The other entities that joined the initiative were religious and community groups, such as the Methodist Church, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepción, and Parroquia de Sainte Thérèse of the Child Jesus. The donations made possible the realization of programs for families, elderly residents, people with disabilities, and communities in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability.
Assistance Also Reached Animal Protection Initiatives
Besides humanitarian aid to families, OIG Gaming Brazil expanded its activities to animal welfare institutions. The company donated 30 tons of pet food for shelters and protection groups that house abandoned and rescued dogs and cats. Among these beneficiaries are the Extension Project of the State University of Piauí (UESPI), the Piauí Association for the Protection and Love of Animals (Apipa), Lar do Nando, the Spreading Love Project, Casa Pet, as well as individual protectors Thanandra Sarapatinhas and Patrícia Sena.
These resources helped maintain rescue operations, veterinary care initiatives, and shelter activities-some areas that are greatly dependent on volunteer work and community donations to keep operating.
Seasonal Actions Strengthened Community Bonds
Throughout the year, on commemorative dates, additional family-and-children-oriented solidarity actions were put together by the company. During Easter, OIG Gaming Brazil distributed 1,000 chocolate eggs. On Mother’s Day, more than one thousand gifts were donated, and on Children’s Day, 7,500 toys were delivered to families across local communities. These actions reinforced a spirit of care and support on culturally significant dates.
It had already made such efforts in 2024, donating 166,261 baskets of food, along with 14,659 towels and bed sheets, plus nine tons of pet food, which topped R$9 million in humanitarian support during the period.
A Commitment Framed as Social Responsibility
Commenting on the actions, Fernando Oliveira Lima highlighted that business growth should go hand in hand with responsibility to the community. “Our trajectory proves that business success can walk side by side with social responsibility. By investing a significant share of resources in humanitarian actions, we reaffirm our connection with Piauí and inspire a culture of solidarity”, he said. He explained further: “To remember one’s origins is more than just discourse; it is a permanent commitment to those who need it most.”
The activities realized in 2025 have demonstrated how strong donation programs in conjunction with partnerships, the planning of logistics, and institutional collaboration produce significant social dividends in basically all areas of societal concern, from food security and healthcare support to community wellbeing and animal protection.
