July 22, 2025 — Sports data and analytics startup Odditt has announced the closing of a successful funding round last fall, led by Four Okes Digital (FOD). The round also saw investments from seasoned industry leaders Chris Kape and Ron and Alon Segev, while former DraftKings executive Dan Malone has joined Odditt as a strategic advisor.
Odditt was co-founded by Matt Bresler, a recipient of the 20 In Their 20s award, and Elaine Milardo, a former executive at DraftKings. The company leverages advanced statistics aggregation technologies and proprietary data collection methods to deliver sports data feeds rich in insight and timeliness, aimed at powering the next generation of sports narratives and predictive innovations.
“FOD is proud to reveal its investment in Odditt, a startup poised to revolutionize sports data, analytics, and engagement. This strategic move underscores FOD’s commitment to backing standout teams and technologies that align with its vision of smarter, faster, and more scalable products which add value for our clients.”
“From the very first conversation, the FOD management team was struck by the clarity, energy, and deep expertise demonstrated by Odditt’s co‑founders, Matt and Elaine. Their track record in understanding big data, combined with a clear vision for how to use that data to build engaging products, made an immediate and lasting impression. It’s rare to come across a founding team that inspires such instant confidence. Matt and Elaine bring a blend of industry knowledge, strategic insight, and hands‑on experience that resonated with our entire team from the outset. We left that first call with a strong gut feeling, which has built ever since. We’re excited to support them on the next stage of Odditt’s journey.”
Matt Bresler, CEO of Oddit, added:
“At Odditt, our goals when raising money have always been clear: to partner with investors who bring not just capital, but genuine domain expertise, razor‑sharp product instincts, and a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of sports technology. Four Okes Digital embodies exactly that. Their proven track record in marketing and acquisition, their team’s powerful and diverse range of perspectives, and their hands‑on, collaborative approach give us tremendous confidence that, together, we can accelerate Odditt’s growth and deliver even more powerful insights and products to our customers. We couldn’t be more excited to have FOD’s strategic guidance, extensive network, and operational excellence backing us on this journey.”
On the addition of new investors and advisors, Bresler added:
“We’re thrilled to welcome investors Chris Kape, Ron Segev, and Alon Segev, as well as Dan Malone as our strategic advisor. Chris, Ron, and Alon bring decades of entrepreneurial leadership and deep industry insight, while Dan offers unmatched expertise in data‑driven decision making, retention, and acquisition for consumer products. Their combined guidance and support will be invaluable as Odditt continues to build”
Kape, the former CEO of Don Best Sports, and Ron and Alon Segev, notable figures in the gambling sector, bring substantial experience to Odditt’s investor base.
Dan Malone, in his role as strategic advisor, will help guide Odditt’s go-to-market strategy ahead of its first direct-to-consumer app launch, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and loyalty to ensure a successful and sustainable rollout.
With its strengthened leadership and funding, Odditt is poised to push the boundaries of how sports data is collected, analyzed, and used.
