Mozzartbet Group will close its Malta Gaming Authority operations on 1 October 2026, drawing the curtain on Mozzart.com after seven years online.
The brand has been active since March 2019, but the company confirmed in a notice to partners on 27 August that both the site and its affiliate programme will be discontinued.
“We regret to inform you that, following a strategic decision by management, Mozzartbet Malta Limited will cease its operations under its MGA licence and discontinue the Mozzart.com brand, including the affiliate programme operated under that brand,” the statement, viewed by SBC News, read.
The operator explained the move was part of a shift in focus, adding: “This decision follows our determination to focus exclusively on the markets in which we hold local licences and operate under local regulation.”
Partners were told commissions will be calculated on activity through 30 September, with affiliate links deactivated via the MyAffiliates platform once the closure takes effect.

Mozzartbet confirmed that the closure of its Malta‑licensed .com business will not affect its other operations.
The group, headquartered in Belgrade and founded in 2001 by Serbian entrepreneur Dejan Čakajac, continues to run locally licensed platforms across several countries.
Affiliate programmes in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kenya and Nigeria remain unchanged, while operations in North Macedonia, Romania, Croatia and Ghana also continue under local regulation, though these markets were not specifically mentioned in the affiliate notice.
“It does not affect any of our other operations. Our activities in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kenya, Nigeria and North Macedonia, where we operate under local licences, continue unchanged. The move reflects a strategic decision to focus on the markets in which we are locally licensed and regulated,” Mozzartbet said to SBC News.
It also stressed that the decision applies only to Mozzart.com and its Malta Gaming Authority licence.
