Beginning with the 2025 season, Major League Baseball (MLB) and Sportradar Group AG have announced that their exclusive partnership is expanding in scope and scope.

Under the new agreement, Sportradar will be the exclusive distributor of official league information, including the popular MLB Statcast Data and live audiovisual content. This information will reach a large global audience, including 900 media outlets and 800 sports betting companies.

Commitment to Fair Play.

Sportradar will use the Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) to track bets and ensure fair betting. With this sophisticated technology, MLB will identify questionable bets and maintain a level playing field in the sports betting industry.

Sportradar will also provide educational resources and support research to ensure its players and the league are prepared for the challenges of this rapidly changing industry.

Fan engagement and the rise of artificial intelligence

Developing features using artificial intelligence (AI) and player tracking data to provide fans with personalized and engaging experiences is another key aspect of the partnership. For MLB fans, these concepts would build on an already strong engagement with the game through immersive experiences made possible by player tracking data.

About the financial agreement

Sportradar will pay annual license fees under this agreement. Subject to customary terms and conditions, MLB will receive up to 1,855,724 shares of Class A common stock over the term of the agreement.
