Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd’s Jeju Dream Tower posted a strong recovery in March, with casino sales rising 24.3% year-on-year and 23.8% from February to KRW40.4 billion (US$26.7 million). The rebound followed a softer February and was supported by gains across both table games and machine play at the Jeju property.
Table sales recorded a rise of 24.0% year over year to KRW38.4 billion (US$25.4 million), with machine sales up by 30.3% year over year to KRW2.05 billion (US$1.35 million). Hotel sales were up by 43.3% year over year to KRW5.88 billion (US$3.88 million), building on the property’s stronger performance in the month.
Visitor Numbers Reach Highest Since October
According to information filed on Wednesday, Jeju Dream Tower’s casino table drop was recorded at KRW188.9 billion, representing an increase of 19.6%. Visitation was recorded at 53,587 in March, the highest since October. This gives Jeju Dream Tower a stronger platform as they enter the second quarter.
The March result suggested a return of momentum after the quieter February period. The increase in table drop, along with higher visitation, helped support the month’s better casino performance and pointed to a healthier pace of activity across the gaming floor.
First Quarter Growth Accelerates
For the first quarter of 2026, casino sales increased by 40.3% to KRW118.6 billion (US$78.4 million). Table game sales increased by 41.5% to KRW112.9 billion (US$74.6 million). Machine sales increased by 19.6% to KRW5.67 billion (US$3.75 million). Hotel sales were up by 27.9% year over year to KRW18.0 billion (US$11.9 million).
The quarterly performance shows that the property’s stronger performance in March was not an isolated event in one month of the quarter, but part of an overall improvement in the property. Jeju Dream Tower’s casino and hotel businesses both contributed to the stronger first-quarter result.
Resort Footprint Remains Wide
Jeju Dream Tower remains the tallest building in Jeju, standing 38 floors high at 169 meters. The resort includes a retail mall, 14 restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool deck, a skydeck lounge on the top floor, 2 spas, and a casino with 150 tables and 300 slot machines.
The casino was relocated from the smaller Lotte Hotel Jeju in June 2021 and now covers more than 5,000 square meters. It offers 141 gaming tables, 190 slot machines, and 71 electronic table games, giving the property a sizable gaming floor within the wider resort complex.
March Rebound Lifts Quarterly Picture
The March figures gave Jeju Dream Tower a much stronger finish to the first quarter, with gains across casino sales, hotel sales, and visitation. After the softer February result, the property recovered quickly and ended the month with its highest visitor count since October.
With first-quarter casino sales up 40.3% and table game revenue leading the way, Lotte Tour Development’s Jeju resort entered the second quarter with firmer momentum than it had at the start of the year.
