5th May 2026 – Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has officially entered the Czech Republic’s B2C online gaming sector following the full acquisition of local sportsbook and casino operator Kingsbet CZ. The move represents another milestone in the company’s ongoing strategy to grow its presence across regulated European markets.
The Czech Republic continues to emerge as a highly attractive and rapidly expanding regulated market. Data from the Czech Ministry of Finance shows that in 2025, the country’s total gross gaming revenue (GGR) reached CZK 68 billion (approximately EUR 2.7 billion), with online gambling contributing 59.2% of the total.
Through the acquisition, Greentube gains access to Kingsbet’s established local expertise and in-depth understanding of the market, reinforcing its long-term objectives within the region.

The transaction remains subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approval.
