The Gaming in Holland Conference has announced its preliminary agenda for the upcoming event, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 4, in Amsterdam.
The annual conference will once again gather key stakeholders and decision makers from the regulated Dutch gambling sector. This year’s edition will place a strong focus on the growing challenge posed by illegal operators and unfair competition, with discussions centered around how the regulated industry can work together to “#ReclaimTheMarket.”
Among the confirmed sessions in the preliminary agenda are keynote presentations and panel discussions covering market developments, regulatory responses, player protection, black market activity, and licensing compliance.
The conference keynote, “Market developments & regulatory responses,” will be delivered by Ella Seijsener, Director Licensing & Supervision at the Netherlands Gambling Authority.
Additional sessions include:
- “Challenges & opportunities in the Dutch market: The view from the board room 1” featuring Arjan Blok, CEO of Nederlandse Loterij
- “Challenges & opportunities in the Dutch market: The view from the board room 2” featuring Petra de Ruiter, CEO of Holland Casino
- “The challenge of the black market: Towards a European response” with Pascal Chaffard, Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer at FDJ United
- “The Dutch gambling market in numbers” presented by Josh Hodgson, COO at H2 Gambling Capital
- “Player protection in the Dutch market” led by Floor van Bakkum, Team Manager Player Protection at the Netherlands Gambling Authority
- “#ReclaimTheMarket: Will players go along?” featuring Dr. Andreas Ditsche, CEO of iGaming.com; Richard Dennys, CEO of Mr. Gamble; and Martin van Geest, Co-Founder of Meneer Casino
- “Game popularity: Onshore and offshore offerings compared” with Jeffrey Haas, Advisor at Blask Business Intelligence
- “Navigating KSA reliability assessments: From license application to M&A approval” presented by Frank Tolboom, Partner at Franssen Tolboom Advocaten
In addition to the main-stage program, the event will also feature breakout sessions focused on practical industry topics, including Dutch gambling license renewals and AMLR/AMLA compliance for gambling operators.
