FIRST.bet Expands in Argentina Through Partnership With Grupo Slots

The sports betting partner, Grupo Slots, has launched FIRST.bet in Argentina by integrating the sports betting platform into its Jugadon.bet.ar website. According to the agreement, Grupo Slots will be able to launch “FIRST.bet” in one of its brands as a sportsbook in the country’s regulated market.

The implementation is a new milestone in FIRST.bet’s growth in the provincial licensing model in Argentina. Grupo Slots’s choice of the provider’s technology was driven by the trading and risk management features, along with tools that cater to the preferences of players from Argentina.

Companies Highlight Technology and Operational Capabilities

Tom Light, founder and CEO of FIRST.bet, emphasised that Grupo Slots had an established presence in Argentina and the necessity of operation when looking at the partnership.

“Grupo Slots is an established and regulated operator in Argentina; this is not someone testing the waters. When a group of this scale brings on a sports betting partner, it is not simply about changing providers, but about having genuinely robust operational and risk management capabilities. That is precisely what we offer, and it represents another step in the seriousness with which we are developing our presence in Argentina,” Light said.

According to Lucas Baffetti, Commercial Manager at Grupo Slots, the integration will help develop Jugadon.bet.ar and boost its user experience.

“Choosing First.bet’s sports betting platform represents a growth opportunity for Jugadon.bet.ar. It strengthens our gamification tools and improves the user experience, which we expect to translate into greater player loyalty,” Baffetti said.

Grupo Slots Expects to Strengthen User Experience

Collaboration in the implementation and coordinating both companies’ efforts to realize the potential of the technology were also stressed, Baffetti said.

“We are implementing this solution through a joint effort; this collaboration will allow us to make the most of First.bet’s technology, generating benefits throughout the value chain,” he added.

The collaboration unites FIRST.bet’s sportsbook technology with Grupo Slots’ current sportsbook operations in Argentina. The integration is centered around the sports betting aspects, risk control, and regional capabilities for the site’s customers.

FIRST.bet Strengthens Its Commercial Structure in Latin America

It comes as a welcome addition to the role of Victor Arias as the Vice President of LATAM and Head of Commercial LATAM at FIRST.bet. Arias previously served as regional development director for Pragmatic Play and will now be responsible for FIRST.bet’s commercial growth in the region.

He is responsible for creating a regional strategy to address specific market and regulatory situations. As FIRST.bet continues to grow its reach in the region, the partnership with Grupo Slots is an additional operation in Argentina.
