Finnplay launches Titan 3.0, delivering its largest feature update to date

10 February 2026Finnplay has announced the launch of Titan 3.0, a major update to its Titan® iGaming platform, marking the company’s most extensive feature rollout to date.

Titan 3.0 introduces a broad set of new capabilities aimed at enabling smarter campaign management, enhanced player-level control and improved operational efficiency. The update is designed to give operators greater flexibility as they scale across regulated markets. Built on Finnplay’s established platform architecture, Titan 3.0 represents the company’s largest platform investment so far and is informed by direct operator feedback across multiple markets. The release focuses on practical enhancements that support clearer player journeys, stronger personalisation and scalable compliance.

“Titan 3.0 is a focused evolution of the platform and Finnplay’s largest product investment to date,”

said Jaakko Soininen, Managing Director at  Finnplay.

“The feedback from our operators has been extremely positive. These are capabilities that have been long awaited, and they are designed to help operators take their business to the next level while maintaining the stability and regulatory readiness Titan is known for.”

Key additions in Titan 3.0 include new multiwallet functionality, expanded campaign and reward tools, and enhanced segmentation features such as player tags. The update also introduces product blocking at category level, allowing players to restrict access to specific game categories while retaining access to others, in line with responsible gaming requirements.

The platform further strengthens CRM and marketing capabilities through a two-way integration with Optimove, alongside improved system communications, new tournament formats and real-time data transfer to third-party services. A redesigned Back Office is planned for a later release, with the aim of improving usability and workflow efficiency.

Titan® continues to operate as an open and modular platform, supporting more than 100 game providers and over 80 payment service providers, while maintaining full support for compliance and responsible gaming requirements across multiple regulated jurisdictions.

Q&A with Brian Forth, Finnplay Commercial Director

1. Titan 3.0 is described as Finnplay’s largest platform investment to date. What were the most common pain points you heard from operators that made this upgrade necessary now?

We have shown that we can handle the toughest jurisdictions (e.g. the Netherlands and Sweden) and massive traffic related to big sporting events. However across different markets, operators were telling us very similar things. They needed more flexibility in how they design campaigns and rewards, better tools to segment and manage players, and more automation to reduce manual work as operations scale. At the same time, they didn’t want added complexity or risk to compliance.

Titan 3.0 is our response to that. We’ve taken years of operational feedback from regulated markets and focused on solving practical, everyday challenges, including how to run smarter campaigns, how to personalise responsibly, and how to manage growth without increasing operational burden.

That combination is what made this the right time for such a significant investment.

2. Many of the new features – such as multiwallet, player tags and advanced segmentation – enable much deeper personalisation. How do you ensure this commercial flexibility aligns with increasingly strict responsible gaming and regulatory requirements?

For us, personalisation and responsibility are not competing goals. They must work together.

Titan has always been built for regulated markets, and Titan 3.0 follows the same principle. Features like multiwallet and player tags are centrally managed and rule-driven, meaning operators can apply clear limits, controls, and monitoring across all player segments. Responsible gaming tools, AML, and reporting are part of the same core logic, not separate add-ons.

This ensures that increased commercial flexibility never comes at the expense of compliance. In practice, it actually allows operators to act earlier, be more transparent, and tailor interventions when needed.

3. Product blocking at category level is a notable addition. Do you see this primarily as a compliance-driven feature, or as a way to improve long-term player trust and sustainability?

It’s both, but if we had to choose, I’d say it’s more about long-term sustainability.

Regulators increasingly expect more granular player protection tools, but players themselves are also asking for better control. Category-level blocking allows players to make more precise choices about their behaviour, without being forced into all-or-nothing decisions.

That kind of flexibility supports trust and healthier engagement over time, which ultimately benefits operators as well. Compliance is the baseline, sustainability is the long-term goal.

4. Titan 3.0 introduces a two-way CRM integration with Optimove. Why was it important for Finnplay to focus on real-time, bidirectional data flows rather than more closed or one-way integrations?

Modern player engagement depends on timing and context, and one-way integrations simply can’t support that today.

With two-way, real-time data flows, operators can react to player behaviour as it happens and ensure that actions taken in CRM tools are immediately reflected on the platform. This avoids delays, inconsistencies, and manual work, while improving accuracy and player experience.

For Finnplay, this approach also reflects our open-platform philosophy. Operators should be free to choose best-in-class tools and deeply integrate them, rather than being limited by closed ecosystems.

5. With Titan 3.0 live and a redesigned Back Office planned for a later release, how do you see operator expectations evolving over the next few years when it comes to usability, automation and scalability?

Operator expectations are rising quickly. Teams want platforms that are powerful but also intuitive, where complex operations don’t require complex workflows.

We see a clear shift towards greater automation, clearer oversight, and configurable workflows that adapt to different markets and operating models. Usability is no longer just a “nice to have”, it directly impacts efficiency, compliance, and speed to market.

The redesigned Back Office is part of how we’re addressing that. It’s about making advanced capabilities easier to manage at scale, while ensuring operators remain in control as their business and regulatory requirements evolve.

6. How about AI? It’s 2026 — surely Titan 3.0 comes with built-in AI?

Naturally, we are integrating AI tools and tactics into our product and workflows, however that is not our key message. You can generate a lot of attention by shouting about AI, but you cannot separate AI from the product itself, therefore we speak about the product features and not AI specifically.

The improved architecture of Titan 3.0 unlocks AI capabilities now and more importantly makes it possible to add future capabilities as those come available with the rapid development of AI. We are already in live production with several solution providers with powerful AI capabilities, like Golden Whale, Neccton, Mindway and Optimove.
