Global gaming supplier FBM plans to put slots front and center at ICE Barcelona later this month. The company will showcase 13 different games across four configurations of its Auria casino cabinet at Booth 3M40 from January 19 to 21. Temple of Gods, Oranges & Lions, and Lucky Wheel headline the lineup, giving visitors plenty to explore during the Fira Barcelona Gran Via event. FBM Director Vitor Francisco described the approach as a deliberate focus on slot machines this year, challenging casino operators to test the Champion slots collection with its mix of mechanics, features, and themes.
Fresh Slot Releases Blend Classic Mechanics With Modern Bonuses
Oranges & Lions stands out as the latest entry. This game incorporates elements of Cash on Reels, as well as some elements from other categories of online gambling slots in the form of Mystery Prizes, Free Spins bonuses, and three increased levels of prize features known as the Extra Fruity Feature, the Extra Juicy Feature, and the Extra Zesty Feature. These four categories, along with the Cash on Reels element, all play out on the same three centre reels with 40 different ways to win and 15 separate reels. When golden lions hit those central positions, they can trigger renewable Free Spins, unlock one of four game jackpots through Mystery Prizes, or activate multipliers that boost prizes. This design pack is full of several ways to win, providing a versatile draw for a variety of different types of players.
Temple of Gods draws from ancient Egypt with two themed games, Throne of Isis and Tomb of Anubis. The Link bonus serves as the centerpiece. If players manage to land six or more of the Link symbols on their screen, they automatically convert those reels into chambers, providing the possibility of winners for four progressive jackpot types: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand. In addition to linking the Link symbols to progressive jackpots, every game also has a feature designed for that game’s theme called the Mystery Symbol feature. In Throne of Isis, Sticky Mystery Symbols earned during Free Spins lock in place for the entire bonus round, building bigger payouts. Tomb of Anubis uses Triple Mystery Symbols that reveal multiple matching icons during Free Spins, ramping up prize potential.
Asian Themes Power Lucky Wheel Series
The Lucky Wheel collection draws upon the Asian cultural themes across four game titles: Golden Dynasty, Koi Fortune, Majestic Panda, and Imperial Harmony, and introduces the signature Lucky Wheel feature activated when players land three symbols, which begins a bonus round during which they may win one of the Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand jackpots. During this same time, for example, if a player hits a side combination with three x2, x3, x5, or x10, they multiply their winnings. The combination of familiar themes and the ability to win a progressive jackpot makes this series appealing to players that are drawn to wheel-based bonuses.
FBM rounds out the display with established favorites featuring cartoon mascots. Croc’s Lock and Hippo’s Lock bring back Super Croc and Super Hippo characters. The three-accumulator mechanic powers multi-game mixes like Xing Fú Fortune Money Trees, with Power and Wealth variants, alongside Lanterns of Fú in Intensity and Harmony editions. All titles run on four Auria cabinet setups, Tri, Maxima, Journey, and Inversa, letting operators see how the games perform across different hardware footprints.
Spin for the Win Activation Adds Engagement
Beyond the machines, FBM plans an interactive element at Booth 3M40. Visitors get to try the Lanterns of Fú bonus round and automatically qualify for prizes including Apple AirPods and other Champion-branded gifts. The Spin for the Win challenge turns passive viewing into hands-on participation, giving attendees real-time experience with the feature sets while competing for takeaways.
FBM’s all-in approach on slots reflects confidence in the portfolio’s diversity. Operators face choices across mechanics like Cash on Reels, Link progressives, wheel bonuses, and accumulator systems, all wrapped in themes ranging from Egyptian mythology to Asian traditions and cartoon adventures. The Barcelona showcase gives the industry a concentrated look at how these games play out, particularly with Oranges & Lions, positioning as a fresh standout ready for floor trials.
