Dan Taylor to Lead Flutter After Jackson’s Exit as Company Records Q2 Revenue Growth

Flutter Entertainment has confirmed that Dan Taylor will take over as Group Chief Executive Officer on October 1, 2026, stepping into the role as Peter Jackson departs after nearly nine years at the helm.

Jackson will leave the board at the end of September but remain as an advisor through December to ensure a smooth handover.

Taylor, who currently heads Flutter’s International division, has overseen more than $9 billion in annual revenue and $2.2 billion in adjusted EBITDA, driving growth through acquisitions and organic expansion across regulated markets

Taylor described his appointment as a chance to build on the momentum already created, promising to keep delivering for colleagues, customers, and shareholders while pursuing new opportunities.

“The opportunities ahead are significant – both those we see in the market today and those we will create ourselves in the future. I look forward to leading the business as we continue to innovate, grow and build on the strengths that make Flutter unique.”

Jackson, reflecting on his tenure, said it had been a privilege to lead Flutter’s transformation and expressed confidence in Taylor and the leadership team to continue driving growth.

Having worked closely with Dan for many years, I have seen first-hand his ability to grow businesses, build strong teams and deliver exceptional results. I leave with great confidence in Dan, the leadership team and the Company’s future.”

Q2 revenue hits 3% as Flutter leaves London Stock Exchange

Flutter Entertainment reported second‑quarter revenue of $4.19 billion, a 3% increase from the same period last year, even as profitability weakened.

The group posted a net loss of $296 million compared with a $37 million profit in Q2 2025, with adjusted EBITDA falling 45% to $508 million. Loss per share came in at $1.57, while adjusted earnings per share dropped sharply to $0.49 from $2.95 a year earlier.

The company highlighted strong customer engagement during the FIFA World Cup and growth in international markets, where revenue rose 10% to $2.64 billion.

U.S. revenue, however, slipped 6% to $1.68 billion, with sportsbook down 15% despite FanDuel maintaining its leading market share. International adjusted EBITDA fell 19% as higher UK taxes and World Cup marketing spend offset revenue gains.

This week also saw Flutter announce the completion of its delisting from the London Stock Exchange on August 3, leaving New York as its sole primary listing.

Executives said the decision followed low trading volumes and high costs in London, with the move designed to concentrate liquidity and shareholder value in the U.S. On its final day of trading in London, shares closed at £75.88, down from £81.38 earlier that week.

Looking ahead, Flutter cut its full‑year guidance, lowering expected group revenue to $17.91 billion and adjusted EBITDA to $2.65 billion.

The company said the revision reflects Q2 trading, investment in FanDuel’s sportsbook, and tax provisions, but noted early Q3 performance has been ahead of expectations.
