Cubeia appoints Paul Crisp as Head of Marketing

15th January 2026: Sweden-based iGaming software solutions provider Cubeia has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Paul Crisp as Head of Marketing, marking a significant step as the company enters its next phase of growth.

In his new role, Paul will lead Cubeia’s global marketing strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market execution across both online and land-based channels. With eight years of experience in SaaS, he brings deep knowledge of gaming, software development, and platform-led businesses.

Paul’s arrival comes at a pivotal moment for Cubeia, as the company continues to expand its platform offering, poker network, and portfolio of original games.

Paul Crisp, Cubeia’s Head of Marketing, said:

“I’VE BEEN AWARE OF CUBEIA’S RISE IN THE INDUSTRY DURING MY TEN YEARS IN GAMING, HAVING CUT MY TEETH IN THE POKER SECTOR. CUBEIA IS AN INCREDIBLE SOFTWARE COMPANY, OFFERING PLATFORM SOLUTIONS, A POKER NETWORK, AND AN INNOVATIVE ORIGINAL GAMES SUITE. THE HEAVY LIFTING ON THE PRODUCT SIDE IS BEING DONE, AND NOW IT’S TIME TO TAKE THESE SOLUTIONS TO A BROADER MARKET AND SPREAD THE CUBEIA MESSAGE FAR AND WIDE. IT’S A SUPERB TEAM THAT HAS ALREADY ACHIEVED SO MUCH, AND I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO COMPLEMENTING IT.”

Q&A with Paul Crisp, Head of Marketing at Cubeia

What attracted you to Cubeia at this stage of the company’s growth?

“Great question. My formative years were spent at Ongame Network, when gaming, especially poker, was in its infancy (showing my age here). Back then, anything felt possible; it was an incredibly exciting industry to be in. After a period away, I have to say that Cubeia feels reminiscent of those early days, which were incredibly happy for me, so it felt natural to move over to them once the conversation had begun. Cubeia punches above its weight, and I’m certainly not saying I am here to make them gain weight, but it’s time for Cubeia to take the next step in terms of brand awareness.”

What are your main priorities in your first months as Head of Marketing?

“Ask in a month’s time. Ha. I am really just finding my feet at the moment. However, I can see there is a desire within the organization to ship product rather than continually churn out features. Positioning that product within the gaming ecosystem is going to be both challenging and fun. I want us to know in a heartbeat where our business comes from. Where does a potential client pick up on Cubeia? A colleague described the company as a ‘sleeper’ to me when I first came in, and I think that ties into my point about punching above their weight. Now, I don’t think either of those things are anything but positive, but I understand the desire to start picking up more real estate in terms of market share.”

How do you plan to position Cubeia’s platform, poker network, and original games to a broader global market?

“Starting at Cubeia, you don’t miss how truly dedicated the company is to shipping award-winning software. The product portfolio speaks for itself; now it’s my job to get that language out to a wider audience. Again, it’s something I will have to return to once I have broken in my Cubeia shoes. Ease of integration is something I have picked up on very quickly here; I see it with my own eyes as I wander around the office. That is messaging we need to get front and centre, together with the diversity of the product portfolio. And truly, I really want to lift the team here—great personality and feeling—which inevitably colours the company’s perception in the market. How do we harness that even more?”

With your background in SaaS and gaming, what will be your focus when scaling Cubeia’s marketing efforts internationally?

“I am not going to bore you with long pronouncements on CAC & LTV (with that said, it is at the forefront of my mind), but simply put: where do our customers come from? Where do they convert? How much will it cost to gain more? Equally important, marshalling the brand and identity that has grown so organically over the years, and treating that with the respect it has earned.”

Paul will be present at ICE Barcelona 2026, located at Stand 2R10, alongside Cubeia’s senior leadership team. The company will host a VIP poker experience featuring Swedish football icons Henrik Larsson and Johan Mjällby, while visitors will also be able to explore Cubeia’s expanding games portfolio, including its latest release, Prediction Markets.
