Criciúma Secures Record Master Sponsorship Deal with Betting Platform for 2026 Season

Criciúma Esporte Clube has officially announced on Wednesday (11) that Bolsa de Aposta will be its new master sponsor for the 2026 season.

The sports betting platform will be featured in a prominent position on the team’s shirt throughout the upcoming Brasileiro Série B championship. The deal will last until the end of the year, with an option to extend for two more seasons.

According to Raquel Saliba, Marketing Director of Bolsa de Aposta, this deal is a sign of confidence in the power and passion of the fan base. “We are not coming just as a sponsor, but as a supporter brand that wants to walk alongside the club in this winning moment”, she highlighted.

“Our deal is much more than just having our brand on the shirt, but a partnership deal with the club’s fans and the city. We made this commitment for 2026 with the idea of building a long-term partnership, convinced that together we will go much further”, Raquel celebrated.

Visibility Beyond the Jersey

The deal goes beyond the match-day visibility. Bolsa de Aposta will also have branding rights in the Centro de Treinamento Antenor Angeloni and in Estádio Heriberto Hülse, including the screens and hospitality areas in the stadium.

The new master sponsorship deal is set to be unveiled on Thursday (12) at 7:30 p.m. when Criciúma will face Concórdia Atlético Clube in the Taça Acesc qualifications. The increased visibility shows a more complex commercial approach that involves visibility in matches, infrastructure, and direct engagement with the fans.

A Historic Financial Milestone

The financial significance of the agreement was also emphasized by the club’s executives. “This is the biggest overall-value contract ever signed by the club for a Série B season, second only to the numbers reached during its time in the top division in 2024”, said Moacir Fernandes, second vice-president of Criciúma.

“We continue working together in a serious and responsible way to reach our goals for the season”, the executive added. The agreement is a positive factor for the club’s financial structure as it pursues competitive and stable results in Brazil’s second division.

Responsible Gaming and Educational Focus

Bolsa de Aposta also underlined that the agreement is in line with guidelines set by the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, thus reaffirming the company’s commitment to Responsible Gaming and user education.

The company’s brand ambassador, Fabio Nettuno, emphasized the company’s educational role in the new betting scenario in Brazil. “The betting market in Brazil is currently going through a very significant moment of maturation, but we still see many people losing money in traditional bets”, he said.

“Uniting this winning mentality with Criciúma’s tradition is the best possible scenario: we will demonstrate to Tigre’s fans that it is possible to enjoy the passion for football with strategy, responsibility, and the right tools in hand”, he concluded.

The agreement, which combines financial, brand, and educational aspects, thus opens a new chapter in the relationship between Criciúma and Bolsa de Aposta as they begin the 2026 season.
