Codere Online, Spain and Latin America’s number one online gaming business and a Codere Group subsidiary, made further strides in its commitment to women’s sport by expanding its agreement with Club de Fútbol Monterrey. The latest agreement, which has just been announced, sees Codere become the women’s team, Rayadas‘ main sponsor for the 2025-2026 season.
This strategic alliance marks a new stage in Codere’s activity in Mexican football, with emphasis on both the brand’s institutional support and its growing visibility in the Latin American market. The agreement is founded on shared values of excellence, diversity, and long-term development.
Visibility and Strategic Activation
As part of the sponsorship, Rayadas (a multiple champion Liga MX Femenil team) will feature the Codere brand prominently on the chest of their jerseys. The brand will also be seen through various touchpoints of the club infrastructure and communication channels, with high visibility during matches and team activities.
Anything but a branding stunt, the alliance is built on creating together a set of marketing campaigns and fan engagements. These are intended to build awareness of women’s football and generate real engagement with fans through relevant experiences.
“Rayadas and Codere Online are already working together to develop and implement common campaigns, activations, and experiences to strengthen and promote women’s football through a shared strategy that embodies sporting excellence, future, and equity values“, the company stated in its official release.
Reaffirming a Long-Term Commitment
This follows Codere’s new agreement with Rayados, the men’s team of Club de Fútbol Monterrey, in March 2024, when the operator reconfirmed its status as the club’s Official Betting House. This latest deal with Rayadas does the same, and it emphasizes the operator’s institutional dedication to sponsoring both men’s and women’s teams of the club.
“Rayadas, a perennial force in Liga MX Femenil, has also become the norm in national sport through numerous championships and consistently high-level play“, the club emphasized.
Through this signing, Codere is consolidating its long-standing philosophy of supporting sports and boosting the professionalization of women’s football, not only as a sponsor but as a catalyst for sustainable development and international visibility in the sports world.
Executive Remarks
Carlos Sabanza, Codere Online’s Director of Public Relations and Sponsorships, was delighted with the deal: “Working together with Rayadas was one of our obvious objectives, and a great job on our agenda. It is an honor and a challenge to be their official sponsor.”
Codere Online Chief Marketing Officer Alberto Telias expressed: “This union strengthens our growth and consolidation in Mexico, where Codere.MX remains one of the leading online gaming platforms in the market.”
On the club’s side, Executive President Pedro Esquivel also welcomed the extended partnership: “It’s a pleasure to continue this relationship with an internationally renowned brand like Codere. We’re confident that great things are coming in the future, and we’re excited to live them together.”
Women’s Sports on the Rise
Codere’s sponsorship of Rayadas fits into a broader trend throughout sport as brands look increasingly to identify the value and growth potential of women’s competition. Increased professionalization, level of competition, and fan interest around women’s football provide the ideal platform for brand alignment with values that have purpose.
As the two groups look into the future, the partnership of Codere Online and Rayadas will be more than a commercial deal — it’s a vision of shared ownership, greatness, and fan-first engagement in the evolving landscape of Latin American sport.
