ChatGPT Begins Displaying Kalshi World Cup 2026 Odds in Search Results

Users searching for specific 2026 FIFA World Cup matchups in ChatGPT are now seeing betting-style probability cards powered by prediction market operator Kalshi, marking the first known integration of prediction market data into OpenAI’s search experience.

The feature appears only for targeted searches rather than broad tournament queries. Asking about a matchup such as France vs Spain in the 2026 World Cup can trigger a card showing each team’s estimated chance of advancing. In one observed semifinal example, France was listed at roughly 59% to 60%, while Spain appeared at 41%. Every card identifies Kalshi as the source of the probabilities.

Limited Rollout, No Betting Access

The new cards function as informational snapshots rather than live betting tools.

Users cannot place trades through ChatGPT, and the interface does not direct them to Kalshi’s exchange. OpenAI’s existing policies continue to prohibit using ChatGPT to facilitate gambling transactions.

The displayed percentages are also not live market prices. They represent static snapshots and may differ slightly from the figures currently available on Kalshi, sometimes by around one percentage point.

Another limitation is visibility. The feature appears tied to highly specific prompts and does not surface when users perform broader searches such as simply typing World Cup.

A New Distribution Channel for Prediction Markets

Neither OpenAI nor Kalshi has publicly commented on the rollout.

Even without official confirmation, the integration is notable because it extends prediction market data into one of the world’s most widely used AI search experiences. It also follows Kalshi’s recent strategy of distributing its market probabilities through major media platforms, including CNN and CNBC.

For now, the rollout remains narrowly focused. ChatGPT presents the probabilities as reference information only, with no wagering functionality or direct path to Kalshi’s marketplace.
