PearFiction Studios Background

PearFiction Studios was founded in 2014 by Thierry Semoff, who is the company’s CEO. The company focused on creating casual mobile games for Android and iOS, releasing around a dozen small-to-mid-sized social games, including Blitz Racer, Alien Road Rage, and Blocks Quiz. In December 2015, they released social casino games, PowerUp Slots.

The studio completely shifted its focus to iGaming in mid-2016. This shift led to an exclusive game development and distribution agreement with RNG Foundry in 2017, enabling PearFiction to integrate its titles into Microgaming’s Quickfire platform. The same year, PearFiction teamed up with Leander, and Gustavo El Luchador was the first title launched through this collaboration in 2018.

Although they already worked with Microgaming, this was a one-off collaboration. However, in 2021, both companies signed a partnership deal, and PearFiction released Chicago Gold exclusively on Microgaming’s platform in February 2021. When Games Global acquired Microgaming’s Quickfire platform in 2022, PearFiction remained a partner studio that now releases premium casino games exclusively for Games Global.
