In a further step to consolidate its position as a social and community-focused business, the Buenos Aires Province Lottery handed sporting gear to Club San Lorenzo de Villa Castells. This initiative falls within a larger donation project carried out with Telekino with the aim of supporting local sporting clubs and social groups within the province of Buenos Aires. The most recent contribution consisted of 15 soccer balls, training vests, and other essential equipment, which will aid the operations of the club through daily training activities. Gonzalo Atanasof, the President of the Lottery in the Buenos Aires Province, led the handover activity along with Ricardo Sagesse, the President of Telekino, and Facundo Giommi, Vice President of Club San Lorenzo de Villa Castells. Established in the year 1990, Club San Lorenzo de Villa Castells operates in the Greater Buenos Aires region and has grown steadily in the past few years. At present, the club looks after 350 children and young individuals, providing them with football development programs extending from early childhood groups to seniors. However, it not only deals with training these young individuals in football but also acts as an arena for them to gain discipline and a sense of fraternity.
Facundo Giommi emphasized its importance, saying that “Clubs make a constant effort to stay up to date, especially when it comes to training materials. Accessing resources is difficult, so this contribution is very important for us and encourages us to keep growing. We are even considering adding new sports disciplines in the future.”
