BETER has secured Services Supplier Registration from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC), allowing the provider to offer its esports and sports content to licensed operators in the Canadian province.
The approval is BETER’s second provincial registration in Canada, following its recent registration in Ontario, and forms part of the company’s wider expansion strategy across North America.
Under the Alberta registration, BETER can supply licensed operators with live streams, real-time data and odds covering its portfolio of fast-paced esports and sports events. This includes its ESportsBattle eLeagues, Setka Cup table tennis series and BSKT Cup basketball league.
BETER expands regulated Canadian presence
With registrations now in place in Alberta and Ontario, BETER is extending its presence across Canada’s regulated gaming market.
The company has also secured ten regulatory approvals in the United States and is continuing to pursue approvals in additional states.
BETER provides 24/7 live streaming, real-time data and odds for more than 740,000 fast-paced events each year. Its offering includes as many as 50 markets per event and delivers an average operator margin of more than 8%.
Its esports offering through ESportsBattle covers eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey and eTennis. On the sports side, the portfolio includes Setka Cup table tennis and the BSKT Cup basketball league.

BETER’s exclusive content is supported by its dedicated Integrity team, which provides round-the-clock monitoring of its events.
The team works with sports integrity organisations including IBIA and ESIC, as well as sports federations, as part of the provider’s approach to maintaining fair-play standards across its competitions.
