Flutter Brazil, the site home to leading brands Betnacional and Betfair, has confirmed the appointment of Bernardo Heynemann as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The move is an effort to strengthen the company’s technology base, focusing on security, performance, and innovation on its sites.
Strengthening Flutter Brazil’s Technological Vision
Heynemann arrives at the role following two years as Vice President of Engineering at Betnacional, where he led the creation of scalable systems and product reliability. As CTO, he will oversee Flutter Brazil’s overall technology architecture, guide architectural development, system integration, and ongoing solution development within Flutter Entertainment’s global ecosystem.
“Our role is to enhance the technological capacity of Flutter Brazil in delivering scalability, stability, and security to all group brands. The aim is to ensure that our platforms scale with business and provide secure and consistent experiences for users“, said Bernardo Heynemann, CTO at Flutter Brazil.
New Leadership to Drive Growth and Innovation
In addition to the appointment of Heynemann, Flutter Brazil also made two new technology leaders in Betnacional. Rafael Moraes has been appointed as Vice President of Foundations to manage key areas such as SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), IT Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity. Matheus Zaqueu has been appointed as Vice President of Engineering, responsible for platforms and products for Betting & Games and Player Account Management (PAM).
In the words of Flutter Brazil CEO João Studart, these leadership shifts indicate the maturity and preparedness of the company to grow. “With the establishment of Flutter Brazil, we had to scale up already successful operations. These changes reinforce our technical backbone and exhibit the maturity of the Flutter ecosystem within the country.
