AskGamblers Casino Complaints Service (AGCCS) has reported its strongest quarter yet, with more than $3.4 million returned to players between April and June 2026.
The service, which handles disputes across online casinos, sportsbooks, and affiliate programmes, saw a sharp rise in both the number of complaints and the amount of money recovered compared to the same period last year.
In total, 4,811 complaints were submitted, with 1,068 resolved successfully. “Q2 was an exceptional quarter for AGCCS, but what stands out to me is not just the $3.4 million recovered. We also saw more players turn to us, more complaints being handled, and more cases successfully resolved,” AskGamblers general manager Dijana Radunović said following the report’s release.
Casino complaints lead to record recoveries
The international casino segment was the largest contributor to the quarter’s results. AGCCS recovered approximately $3,245,900.50 from 829 affected casinos, with 3,777 complaints received and 935 resolved.
This marks a significant increase from Q2 2025, when $2.28 million was recovered and 862 complaints were resolved.
One standout case involved a $2.54 million dispute with 1xBet Sportsbook, which was finally resolved after six months of account verification problems. The player confirmed they were able to withdraw all their funds following AGCCS mediation.
The German-language section added another $32,403.63 from 151 complaints, while the Spanish tenant recovered $19,520.05 from 127 complaints, its strongest performance to date. The Portuguese section remained smaller, with 14 complaints filed during the quarter.
Sports betting and affiliate complaints also on the rise
Sports betting disputes also continued to grow. In Q2 2026, AGCCS handled 626 sportsbook complaints from 516 users, recovering $75,623.61. This was a clear increase from Q2 2025, when 503 complaints were filed by 405 users and follows a slight dip in the first quarter of this year.
Affiliate programme complaints also saw growth, with $24,646.98 recovered from 116 complaints involving 75 users. This was up from $18,487 in Q2 2025 and $20,692 in Q1 2026. The number of users engaging with affiliate disputes also more than doubled compared to last year.
When all segments are combined, AGCCS reached 3,649 users and dealt with 1,160 affected casinos, sportsbooks, and affiliates.
The second quarter of 2026 delivered the highest totals across every major performance indicator: complaints received, complaints resolved, users engaged, and money recovered. The service processed 1,563 complaints and resolved 1,068, marking its busiest quarter yet.
“Behind every number is a player who came to us looking for help with a problem they couldn’t resolve on their own. Our focus remains the same – helping players get answers, resolving disputes where possible, and encouraging greater accountability across the industry,” Radunović added.
