Asia Pioneer Entertainment is taking further steps to expand beyond its traditional home base in Macau, as the company has announced plans to seek distributor licences in the UAE and Singapore. This has been announced by Asia Pioneer as part of its release of results for 2025, announced on Friday.
This is part of a wider effort by Asia Pioneer to expand its electronic gaming equipment distributor business beyond its traditional home base in Macau, a location where it has been operating for many years. The company has noted that it is seeing strong sales in its traditional home market, where casino-goers continue to place new orders for electronic gaming equipment.
Strong 2025 Results Support Expansion
APE’s expansion into new markets occurs after a good year of growth for the firm. The firm’s revenue for 2025 came in at HK$65.8 million, representing a 29.7% year-over-year growth. The firm’s net profit, on the other hand, increased by 60.5% to HK$6.1 million. According to Chairman and Executive Director Allen Huie, the firm’s outlook remains positive as it anticipates sustained demand from Macau and opportunities from abroad.
The bulk of APE’s revenue and profit in 2025 came from its electronic gaming equipment business, which was driven by casino customer orders from Macau. The company also provides repair services to casino operators, as well as consultancy and technical services, adding a broader support layer around its core distribution business.
New Licenses Target Abu Dhabi and Singapore
Huie said the company is currently seeking distributor licences in Abu Dhabi and Singapore so it can distribute its EGE products to casinos in those markets. The applications mark a direct step into new regulated jurisdictions as APE looks to increase its international footprint.
That international ambition sits alongside the company’s Macau business, where APE represents several well-known suppliers, including Spintec, IDX Games, Konami, and Jumbo. By building on those established relationships, the company is aiming to translate its regional experience into a wider sales platform.
Credit Support and Broader Product Plans
To back its sales efforts, APE has also secured a HK$20 million credit facility with Macau’s BNU bank. Huie said the funding will support the company’s EGE sales initiatives as it continues to pursue growth in both Macau and overseas.
Beyond distributor licences, the company is also planning to widen its product offering. Huie said APE is preparing to move beyond its core electronic gaming equipment segment and distribute casino operations solutions as well. That could include products related to table games or tools designed for use on the gaming floor.
Broader Offering Built on Casino Relationships
The firm’s strategy, according to Huie, is based on their belief that their more than 20 years of experience and their relationships with casino customers give them a solid foundation for providing high-performance products and solutions that can make a positive impact on casino operations. The firm, he said, intends to introduce their new products carefully, expanding their scope of products.
The strategy appears to indicate a gradual shift from the firm’s current scope of work. For now, APE’s core remains tied to Macau, and its electronic gaming equipment segment, but the latest results and licensing plans show a company looking to turn that base into a wider regional platform.
