The Arena Racing Company (ARC) has established a strong presence in the racing industry in the UK and has managed to carve out a niche in the Middle Eastern gaming industry, which is still in its infancy. The company has stated that it has obtained a Gaming-Related Vendor License from the UAE’s General Commercial Gaming Authority (GCGRA). The company will now find itself in the list of pioneering companies that will enter the UAE’s commercial gaming industry, now that it has obtained the license.
A Gateway to the Emirates
The license, which is effective immediately, grants ARC the authority to offer its suite of products and services directly to licensed operators across the region. This is no small feat given the rigorous oversight of the GCGRA, an independent federal entity established with exclusive jurisdiction to regulate, license, and supervise all commercial gaming activities in the United Arab Emirates. With the new license in hand, this collective expertise can now be deployed to serve operators in the UAE, bringing established racing products to a fresh audience.
Bringing Racing Solutions to a New Audience
At the heart of ARC’s offering is its Racing1 Markets service. This all-embracing offering encompasses horse racing alongside greyhound racing. This has been made possible through the combined effort of multiple vital partners: the Racing1 alliance rights holders at 1/ST content, Racecourse Media Group (RMG), Tabcorp, besides Pythia Sports’ technological support. Now that there’s this new license at play, this combined strength shall finally be used for the benefit of operators within the UAE, extending their known racing offering to this new market.
