The National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) has announced its sponsorship partnership with the football team for amputees, Clube Atlético Juventus, in São Paulo’s Mooca district, called Juventus APAC. The team plays at the National and international levels in the major football tournaments for amputees.
The collaboration is a sign of the ANJL’s interest in social initiatives and in sport as a means of inclusion and human development, according to its president Plínio Lemos Jorge.
The regulated betting market can also make a contribution to those who want to promote inclusion, diversity and human development through sport, and by doing so show the responsibility of the legal profession in the increasingly responsible, transparent market.
Juventus APAC Brings Together 27 Athletes
The current number of athletes who have been amputated or have congenital malformations at Juventus APAC is 27, with a specific coaching team dedicated to their needs. The team competes in various competitions such as the São Paulo Championship, the Brazilian Championship, the Copa do Brasil, the Libertadores, and the Club World Cup.
In addition to competitive sport projects, the project is also implemented in schools, hospitals, companies, and public spaces. Through football, Juventus APAC seeks to promote inclusion, personal development and social transformation, extending its activities beyond the field.
The new partnership brings ANJL to the team of organizations providing support. K4S, a growth strategy firm, business development and high-value partnerships, made the link between ANJL and the project.
K4S also collaborated with 4Performance, who also featured on the team’s new official jersey.
Sport and Social Inclusion
The partnership introduces the sponsorship in the context of sports initiatives and their role in providing opportunities for those with a disability. For Juventus APAC, competitive football goes hand in hand with activities that involve visibility and participation in various social settings.
The agreement is an opportunity for ANJL to link the regulated betting industry to work on the subjects of inclusion, diversity and social responsibility. Its involvement is part of its overall stance on responsible and transparent development of the legal market, the association said.
ANJL’s Role in Brazil’s Regulated Betting Sector
Established in 2023, ANJL is made up of businesses involved in games and lotteries in Brazil and has stated that it is a voice for its members and responsible gaming and integrity in the games and lotteries sector.
Among its members are companies like Aposta Ganha Loterias, Fast Gaming, OiG Gaming Brazil, Ana Gaming Brasil, Esportes Gaming Brasil, LBBR Aposta de Quota Fixa, Lucky Gaming, Reals Brasil, Gamewiz Brasil, BETBR Loterias, Versus Brasil, SorteNaBet Gaming Brasil, ODDSGATE Brasil, Upbet Brasil, EBAC, and other operators and service providers.
It is, therefore, a social and sporting dimension that has been brought to ANJL’s activities through the sponsorship from Juventus APAC, and in turn, a support to a team in a developing amputee football community in Brazil.
