22nd July 2025 – Altenar, a leading sportsbook and iGaming software provider, has strengthened its commitment to the South African market with the appointment of Brendon Jeacocks as Regional Director.
Jeacocks brings over eight years of experience in the online gaming sector, with a focus on finance, regulation, and compliance. He most recently served as an independent consultant for South African iGaming brands and previously held the role of Financial Manager at African operator SportPesa.
This strategic hire follows Altenar’s receipt of a National Manufacturer licence from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in December 2024, enabling the company to provide its sportsbook technology to licensed operators across South Africa and other African markets.
In his new role, Jeacocks will lead Altenar’s growth strategy in South Africa, where the company already delivers premium data providers, a localised sports offering, and a mobile app designed for the mobile-first market.
