1xBet has appointed Simon Westbury as its Strategic Advisor, a new position designed to boost the company’s long-term growth and international strategy. With extensive experience across various sectors of the iGaming industry, Westbury will collaborate closely with the 1xBet leadership team to navigate new markets and address regulatory changes.
His responsibilities will include advising on operational structures and managing change, and ensuring alignment across different markets. Westbury brings over a decade of board-level experience in iGaming, having previously served as CEO of Sport Generate and held key roles at Digitain, Sheffield United and Betsoft Gaming.
His background in B2B, sports, and media operations positions him well to help 1xBet enter new markets sustainably and shape its strategic initiatives. He also starts the role immediately.
